BERLIN - Conservative politicians are urging German men to have more sex to boost birth rates or risk being labeled �limp� abroad, a newspaper reported on Friday.

Why don't they pass out propoganda like this in Canada?

Isn't this interesting. Place like China and India couples are limited to one child. In the States and Canada STDs are a hot topic in controlling birth rates as are abortions. Makes you wonder if the German politicians will pass a law forbidding abortion in order to increase birth rates.

What I don't get is the relationship between having a lot of sex and being limp abroad. Maybe these politicians have stumbled onto something: being limp may have something to do with a persons natural environment.

The fear of being labeled "limp" is just the "girlie man" bully tactic that apparently thrives in that social system (and Cal-e-forn-ya).

But the declining birth rate in some European countries is real....Iceland is negative and HIRING!

Wow how does that make you feel if you are a man in Germany your politicians men in their 70-80 telling you to have more sex or you will be seen as "girlie men" to the outside world

It's a way of breaking the bad news to them gently. In a subtle way like anouncing it on TV, like Bush did when he decided to invade Iraq.

And who, pray tell, are they going to have sex with?

Their egos usually demand fine "manly men" boys (there IS a stigma attached to having a family of all girls) and the women (in case they haven't noticed) are aging right along with them. At some point, fertility drops very low in men and menopause occurs in women.

So who are they going to breed these dozens of children with, and how is the state going to support them (because unless you're terribly wealthy, it's hard to support a family of more than 3 kids.)

Inquiring minds want to know.

Parliament has to pass laws like child benefit, to help out lower income families. On the other hand if two people make the decision to reproduce, they will reproduce. As to who's going to support them, once the decision is made to reproduce, life and everything else works its way around that decision.

It's like telling yourself that you're going to wake up at five in the morning without the use of an alarmclock, before going to sleep. You will then wake up at five in the morning, the decision to continue sleeping or wakeup is then up to you depending on your current state of mind,
