crap, and its now completely forecast out. that was quick! and as usual there is a crap load air traffic over the city like every mon-fri, all coming from the airbase no doubt.

Hi Again!

Well i see this thread died a quiet death!
Have you seen this object again lately loagun? Have you tried to pin point the location in the sky? There is loads of software out there that might help. If you have an Android phone, try google sky, i was very impressed by it, although it seems that it is a tad "out" but you can get a general idea which stars and or planets is in the vacinity.

The only redish object in the sky that i have observed lately was betelgeuse, watched the supermoon through my telescope(not a fancy one, but decent) and could see Saturn as well, but no "red flickering thing" Whould be awesome to know what you have actually seen.
