U.S. military blocks websites to help Japan recovery efforts

Don't you believe for 1 second there's a coverup here. I mean to shut down all the sites where any chatting could take place might seem suspicious with our governments record, but dont pass judgement without proof. I know I'm trying hard not to.

I can't imagine that bandwidth is an issue. Why do they need that much extra for a recovery effort? On the other hand, what is the nefarious plan behind the blockage of the sites? Blocking Pandora? It's not like people are sneaking classified sound files through Pandora...Maybe it really is what they say and I don't have enough technical savvy to understand why.
