History of Bombs bursting in air, atomic type

With all the news about the unintended release of radio active material in Japan this week, I thought it would be useful to look at a graphic that shows all of the atomic explosions set off in the world. I expected to find fewer than 100, I was suprised to find we have set off so many, including some high altitude air bursts, what were we thinking?

The link goes to a page with an automated graphic display, I am too old to be scared by very much. This scared me.
