Looking that far into the future is way away from my thoughts at the moment. There is a far greater threat than a one world government at hand right now!

let's say that there is a bigger problem, if the government of Japan or USA says that there is a big threat with radiation, it would cause a mass hysteria, right?

If we are told there is a big problem, then you can bet that there is an even bigger problem that we dont know about.

Online geiger counters are a new thing-- in the future when we're all flying atomic rockets to work, every weather report will have the 24-hour averaged counts-per-minute forecast...

Yokosuka Navy Base Area Geiger Counter

Counter page can be slow- server overload...

Anyone got any other links to that address? Those CNN streams do not work for me for some reason.

"rising radiation levels ocuuring" -PM

He also refused to go into details on each reactor and walked out on the press conference. I do believe the sh!t just hit the fan....

Also "exclusion zones completely evacuated, those staying to keep coolant running, are putting themselves at serious risk"-PM (guess 200msv's is on the cards then).

Just to make sure you understand. This is the case at both nuclear plants (not reactors) but the plants.

On NHK tv live, Prime Minister Kan just stated that Fukushima reactor 4 is on fire. Haven't heard this before. Not sure what to make of it...

He is also telling people to not panic.

A reporter asked him about reactor 2. He wouldn't comment on it.

Chief Cabinet Secretary also just stated reactor 4 is on fire. Also said that it was not operating at time of quake. But spent fuel rods are inside (possibly burning?). That smoke might be radioactive.

Also stated that radiation near plant is now being measure in millisieverts, which is much higher.

THIS WEBSITE claims to provide real time updates from civilians all over the US taking radiation reading with their own Geiger counters. If it's legit, it could prove to be a useful tool in the days and weeks ahead.

ETA: It also has a map for Japan: www.radiationnetwork.com...

"The harm to human health will be minimal, if any at all" is what he said. Liar.

Chief Cabinet Secretary just stated that radiation levels were now at "health damaging levels", he's appealing for people to stay indoors, keep windows and ventilation closed......also appealing for calm.

worrying developments indeed.
