NASA Worker Falls To His Death From Space Shuttle Endeavor
Mar. 14, 2011 (5:55 pm) By: John Brownlee

A United Space Alliance employee died today around 7:40AM ET at Kennedy Space Center’s 39-A launch pad in Florida. While working on the Endeavor, he slipped and plummeted to the ground, and although NASA emergency personnel struggled to revive him, the fall ended in his death.www.geek.com...

This may go unnoticed with all that's going on elsewhere in the world. Just thought I'd post it.
Tragic.

He died for science, doing what he loved so tragic, i'm sure
the death will not be in vain...

Why did he not have a safety harness on?

Maybe he was pushed.....

This is sad news. Condolences go out to his family and friends.

May his soul rest in peace. Or should I say....may his soul now finally be able to explore the universe in all it's glory.

I think this man should at least have a satellite named in honor of him, or perhaps the next flight should be dedicated to him and his family regardless of his position at NASA.
