Here's an interesting little test to see how suggestible you are. Its quite fun, nothing too serious, but worth having a go.

Are you easily influenced by what others do and say? If so, you're just the type of person that hypnotists, magicians and mind-readers seek out as you're more likely to fall for their mind tricks.

In this video, psychologist Richard Wiseman gives you the chance to find out how suggestible you are. Give it a go - even the most hardened skeptics might be surprised by the results.

LOL. Well, that was a surprise

First time I attended a hynotherapist (he was highly recommended and worked for doctors and their patients, as well as with psychologists. He hypnotised those unable to have regular anaesthetic, for example and hypnotised women in childbirth who'd chosen not to have anaesthetic) ... well, the first time I attended a session with him, I was hypnotised for almost an hour and apparently ' went very deep'. To me, it seemed I'd been hypnotised for only a couple of minutes, if at all. So there you go -- as result of that experience, I figured I must be extremely suggestible

However, when I opened my eyes at the conclusion of the video linked in your OP, my hands were still level. I'd fully expected to find them approx. one foot apart in height

I'd deliberately focused on the hypnotist's voice and agreed to myself that I wouldn't fight it. So the result surprised me

Thanks for the link
Interesting

My first reaction.....close my eyes...why?
Then here come the reading cards so I kept my eyes open.

Then I immediately saw what was going on.
What did I fail on?

Hands level.
I saw Megan Fox when I closed my eyes....

This was fun I am analytical, I guess? Works.

Now excuse me, I need to close my eyes again and go back to Megan...she was about to take a shower. *sighs*

What's funny is although for a few moments it FELT like my hands were moving...when i opened my eyes they were still even.

What does that mean?

Hilarious!

My hands were about 9" difference in height at the end.

Problem is that it was my left hand that was higher in the air.

OMG! Did a pole shift just happen?

He never explained if you imagined it all clearly but your hands were still the same as you started? I must be both seeming as I visualized everything he said as he said it but still had the ability to keep arms level and straight

ETA - such a vague test for the diagnosis he claims tbh.

Starred and flagged.

Very interesting, I work part time as a graphical artist and I would have figured myself as a more imaginative person so I fully expected myself to look stupid with one hand high up in the air while the other down instead of dead even when I first started.

I guess I have more in common with Spock then I do Q.

My left hand was about 1/4 inch higher. I am far more creative and intuitive than I am down to earth, but my right hand was not higher.

GREAT little test!
...Hands level (right down about 1 inch). No puppy - but I swear I'm incredibly imaginative and creative!!!

The main problem is that as soon as you read the first reply then the whole test is completely invalidated as you know that the he is trying to move your hands apart
