Yeah Japan is/was the top of the tech pyramid.....and if all we get out of this horrible disaster, is the fact that, the most technologically advanced nation...was not as prepared for disasters, or under prepared.....maybe just maybe, some of the other nations with a big giant ammount of less counter measures for their Nuke plants.....
Will take notice.

Sad that them Japanese folks are suffering, but maybe it will wake up the rest of the world and show the seriousness of back up sytems, and IMO why nuke power is even used...

Yeah power demand will not cease. at least not in the near future...so its coal. oil, wind, nuclear.....
There has to be other options that TPTB are keeping as a hole card for the big poker hand at stake here.....all our futures!

The festering cyst is over due and ready to be popped or burst....

I think most Japanese people have pretty good sense of humor, and I hope they recover from this incident quickly.

The Japanese have a wonderful and crazy sense of humor. Not hard to get a laugh at anything and mostly good sports at being the butt of a joke.

Seeing this video reminded me of them Crazy Game Shows they have there. WOW! Funny and dangerous sometimes. Never understood the attraction to it but...when in Rome. (or Japan)

Thats very true they had the some of the weirdest game shows, some of which couldn't be discussed here without T&C violations

Yes I know. I was such a pleasure going over there... Saw some interesting and very beautiful sites. The hot tubes are to die for. I just have a little trouble with the sulfur smell. Service, people, country, culture like you said we could go on all day.
