I hadn't been sick for about 10 years or more and in the past few months, I got a bad cold (hubby had it, too, though) BUT I have also had flu-like symptoms for the past 3 weeks. Can't figure out what's wrong. I've also been an emotional wreck, compared with my normal, mellow, balanced self. My husband said that I seem to have lost my mellow. Lots of depression (which I NEVER have), apathy, anger, frustration, STRESS and sadness, which are normally not part of my existence.

Pineal gland calcification has also been implicated in the onset of Multiple sclerosis. Multiple Sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system (CNS). The CNS consists of the brain, spinal cord, and the optic nerves. Neuroradiological research has shown the pineal gland to be involved in the pathophysiology of Multiple Sclerosis. In a 1991 study by Sandyk R, and Awerbuch G.I published in the “International Journal of Neuroscience”, it was shown that Pineal Calcification was found in 100 % of MS patients. The strikingly high prevalence of pineal calcification in Multiple sclerosis provides indirect support for an association between MS and abnormalities of the pineal gland (Sandyk and Awerbuch, 1991). Multiple Sclerosis tends to affect Caucasians disproportionately, and is nearly unheard of in Africa and is rare among African Americans. A high prevalence of pineal calcification has also been linked to bipolar disorder.

I have had several instances of getting sick to my stomach for absolutely no reason and ringing in my ears a lot lately. It does seem very strange, but I disagree some about mother earth feeling sad, feels more like expectant to me. In fact the whole thing reminds me a bit of being pregnant (no I absolutely am not).

Yeah I have been for maybe 2 months. I usually get sick maybe once or twice a year and haven't had the stomach bug since I was in 4th grade. I'm 25 now. I had vertigo for 2 weeks and it was a pain in the rear, the flu maybe 4 times and just got over a 2 week cold. It seems like I never am well men are getting just as sick but does it seem like our immune systems are much weaker this year?
Aspartame accounts for over 75 percent of the adverse reactions to food additives reported to the FDA. Many of these reactions are very serious including seizures and death. A few of the 90 different documented symptoms listed in the report as being caused by aspartame include: Headaches/migraines, dizziness, seizures, nausea, numbness, muscle spasms, weight gain, rashes, depression, fatigue, irritability, tachycardia, insomnia, vision problems, hearing loss, heart palpitations, breathing difficulties, anxiety attacks, slurred speech, loss of taste, tinnitus, vertigo, memory loss, and joint pain. According to researchers and physicians studying the adverse effects of aspartame, the following chronic illnesses can be triggered or worsened by ingesting of aspartame: Brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, chronic fatigue syndrome, parkinson's disease, alzheimer's, mental retardation, lymphoma, birth defects, fibromyalgia, and diabetes.

Essex UK here.... and I am normally fighting fit but over the last few months I have had what feels like a sore throat and cold threatening for it to just vanish again... then come back a few days later so i again think "Hmmm I'm getting a cold" and nothing.
a week ago I found a lump under my ear in my jaw line. I went to the GP who said "I haven't a clue what it is, take some antibiotics and come back in a week"
Well I refused as there is no infection.. no pain, no heat, no redness.
The lump is now almost 3 inches tall adn 2 inches wide if I push my finegrs in to feel it... it can also be now seen in the mirror and hubby says he can see it too now.
As for headaches.. I have had a 'hangover' type headche since Christmas.
So... are you anywhere near Essex and if so what do you think is effecting us? Can't be pollen...
or is it a koinky dink?
