Nooooooo.... hopefully this is only the extent of it... and won't be worse...

But this is very very very bad. And it exposes the lies of the Japanese government... and cast doubts on the real situation of what going on in those nuclear plants.

Hopefully they really succeed in cooling down the reactors before it goes China syndrome on us...

I'm actually surprised that the Pentagon released that much information. Knowing them the radiation is probably 3x as far out as they said it was.

Guess we'll have to see for ourselves.

So whats going to happen when japan can no longer be inhabited because of dangerously high levels of background radiation? What role is this going to play in the global economy? Japan shows one of the highest indexes for technological growth. With no power and no resources, Japan is going to have to shut down their stock exchange. It seems the situation is larger than radioactive material in the environment, paired with the oil crisis in the middle east, this could potentially contribute to a global economic shutdown.

Those poor people dont deserve this.
No one does.

I hope they get this under control soon.
Its masking the coverage of the revolutions.

If this can be confirmed, then it is a good indication that the core containment is breached.
