i scream into my pillow when i get stressed, not oly do i find it theraputic but also rejuvenating

i am a truther a con theorist like probably 70% of the people that come here, this site is for people who dont listen to what they are fed by the MSM and would rather listen to their peers, some of it may be outlandish at times lol but we are a community on here, i dont know about you but i love to get my teeth around a good bit of info, and gnaw my way through it, picking it apart, i love knowledge, i love the feeling i get when i see something that has been discussed on here and its been picked up and reported on msm, i love that the government thinks of us as terrorists, that means we are getting to the truth.

point is...just enjoy it , enjoy the people, try not get too stressed eh? lol

But there is alot of technology out there and evil men can afford such tech.
I just dunno but my brain muscles tell me we do generate problems in our weather.

True .. Not sure how would classify myself.. Find alot of good information, interesting viewpoints and good people here.. Also a chance to use my rusty english.. Normally dont stress over things but worried about friends and relatives in japan that haven't heard from yet since the earthquake so bit jumpy waiting for news of them..

True.. Think at times too we fall into the trap of thinking that everything is a conspiracy.. And forget that some things are just what they seem - natural phenomena..

it is a natural disaster.

However, when I saw the footage of Christchurch EQ it looked more like a war zone than an EQ. Only because all of the buildings were flattened and usually, EQ's don't have that affect. It looked like a terrorist attack and it was about 10kms under the surface, it would be easy enough to drill, put an explosive device down there and that would unsettle the plate? Anyway, I don't even know what haarp is and never read up on it.

And the TV building was completely demolished. oh dear, maybe I have been reading info on ATS too long, I am just suspicious now.

Hadnt seen footage of the NZ quake as dont have television and no newspapers out where am..
Though from past experience have a good idea of how much damage there was..
The power of nature is quite impressive..
Lol think that at times ats gets everyone suspicious over even ordinary events..

But it does not just stop there with people dreaming up silly earthquake, comet and dark star/planet scenerios. It is Monday morning and I've just cruised the new topics. In a word that bears repeating, I find topic after topic to be crap, crap and more crap.

This situation has been getting worse in the last few months. Why is that? Are there legions of dis- and misinformation specialists creating all manner od idiotic posts for the purpose of driving away serious discussions on ATS?

Are people in general suddenly overcome by waves of mass hysteria that disables their critical thinking process, or is it something more subtle?

It scares the hell out of me to think that the answer is newer and newer crops of simply dumb and ignorant young people are getting on line and making outrageous threads and ourtrageous replies to threads. Especially the latter. Such tactics can destroy a reasonable thread by inciting other radical, unreasonable replies and before you know it, the thread is mired and ruined. I wonder sometimes, not only where these people went to school but IF they went to school. One telling indication of gross ignorance is the incredible amount of grammatically incorrect headlines subsequently followed by barely legible texts.

I suggest that ATS simply put a spell check block on any thread that comes in that is incorrect in grammar, spelling or punctuation. If the OP is not up to the task, then so be it. Such would work to the advantage of all, especially the credibility of the ATS site. (Clarification: ATS spell check block on headlines only.) The best solution is for the poster to create a headline and thread or lengthy posting via a word-processoring program that has spell check and then copy it into ATS.

We all can make mistakes in thinking and the mechanics of posting during the heat of battle and/or rushing to get our special, hot topic out there to the unsuspecting masses. I make more than my share, and try to correct with editing if I can. Any mistake cheapens the total content of my post, and when we go public with whatever our words say or imply, we need all of the credibility we can muster.

Have noticed that lately as well.. And wondered about what was behind it.. Usually I just pass the more preposterous ones up.. Suspect that my humour wouldn't be appreciated too well if replied on them can only hope that like a u.f.o flap it will pass and more quality threads will show up again.. Ta for reply
