Yes, there have been several in the Gulf of California over the past 24 hours.

Also, a couple 2.5's in Arkansas along the New Madrid Fault line.

Spotted it, been keeping an eye out myself on quakes.globalincidentmap.com...

I bet that there has to be a pattern revolving around these things somehow, the New Madrid Fault Line won't have the big one I think until March 20th or so, the same might happen with California. However, I think its very likely it will occur and it will be relatively big, mainly because of two things.

1.) The Kremlin report that there will be a giant earthquake in midwestern or western US in the next 14 days

2.) The United States "emergency exercise" that will have a bunch of departments collaborating together.

Well here is information on the "rare" training event to take place in Kansas on March 21st - 25th.

The report was released on looks like March 12th from the Kremlin www.realnewsreporter.com... so if 14 days then its March 12 - 26. Really odd eh? Maybe they are just preparing for the worse and don't know for sure it will happen, and maybe its just a taste of what we can look forward to in 2012?

I think I read somewhere Tiajuana and baja area got a decent one also, maybe a 5.1?

been watching this since I spotted it while looking at the Japan aftershocks. The ring of fire is really illustrated on the USGS maps.
A friend in Mexico on the Pacific Coast says the locals are expecting something big, due to wave surge observations.

i thought i felt something might have been some one running up stairs, u cant really tell over here anymore.

Yeah, got a feeling about that also. West Coast has been expecting for awhile so now would be the time I believe.
