help? please?

I was wondering if a member could help me out with making a good avatar. No matter how long I spend on it, or how many threads I try, I can never get this Image to turn out right on my avatar. Much less jazz it up and make it ATS worthy. If anybody would be willing to help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much to anyone that helps

Well, I edit the picture, and then change it's Height/Width. You'll see 100 next to both Height and Width. Change it to 50 vertical, and it should make it skinnier. I usually drop it by 10 percent, until gradually it fits. Kind of a pain in the ass, but this is how I figured it out.

It's fine.

Btw, there's loads of people on this site who are really great at editing/making avatars so If you still want it 'jazzed up' more like you mentioned in your OP, It might be worth seeking out the help from one of them. They can do a lot more with your avatar than I can.

If you resize your picture, then remember that it maybe will look weird.

Do you want it as a front avatar, or a background avatar? (mine is background)
