Chernobyl's reactor melted through it's containment and then a few floors below that and now sits there entombed. Nicknamed the "Elephants foot"

Oh god, this is not good at all. My thoughts are with the people of Japan and everyone around them. If you believe in god you should pray. If you dont (like me) everyone should meditate tonight with the intent of sending positive vibrations to the people of Japan. If you do not meditate regularly, or haven't meditated PLEASE meditate, and send positive vibrations to the people of Japan.

God....this is just horrible.

I'm keeping the people of Japan in my thoughts and meditations.

This is so sad.....

Peace be with you, and the people of Japan.

Ask your local drug store if they carry it, that's all i can tell ya.

Every household should have these at hand, and if it happens that you need to use them don't forget to dose your pets too!

I am surprised the military, ours or theirs has not moved generators to provide power to help out. The reactors are not like the old Russian versions that did not have a containment structure. If they get power the situation should be able to be contained even though the reactor would have to be sealed up for a decade or two, Just like Three mile island.

it's not that they haven't tried to, but as i believe Redneck pointed out in a post earlier, the genny's are massive, like tractor-trailor size, and if the roads are washed out, they're going to have one heck of a time getting those in.

Red Horse does not need roads to move this sort of stuff, but I guess it might take a day or two to get their equipment on location.
