Army giving boob jobs?!?!

go here www.newyorker.com... to read about the cosmetic surgery the US army is offering.

Good to see they have their priorities straight:

1 Look good

2 go to foreign countries

3 shoot locals

etc..

It's outrageous. They're cutting veteran benefits right and left and yet they have money to offer cosmetic surgery? Who the f@#* is in charge, anyway?!

If someone's been damaged in an accident or whatever, cosmetic surgery is great. I'm all for that. But boob jobs? Somebody should be fired!

Many of these are for people (mainly spouses) who are severely depressed and have atempted suicide because of self-worth issues. Also, dont discout breast REDUCTIONS included in those numbers, due back problems, ect. I have personaly known a soldier whos wife had breast reduction surgery to fix back problems.

I also had a soldier in my unit who was wounded and disfigured in Iraq. It was so bad, many didnt want to look at him, and I can imagine he would be a good case in point as to why you shouldnt spew out knee-jerk reactions at this.
