Paul is just amazing.
Conversing with him is sort of like the time your buddy put his 68 Caddy up on two wheels just for kicks, while you were in the passenger seat. It's hair raising but you know, he knows what he's doing.

Here we have proof that the nuclear industry has been lying for 40 years, and telling people the back-up cooling systems would keep things from exploding if they lost power, when in fact they don't work. Fukushima was the first and only test and all failed.

nuclearhistory.wordpress.com...

Any half-a$$ed legal beagle with a spine could have all nuke plants shut down over this 40 year lie. Your Amazing, Paul!!

A great find from Lucas. The girder accident at #3.
Reminds me of those old glass arcade games where you try to grab the Topo-Gigio doll with the Groucho Marks glasses. Here we have a glowing example of the morons who hold our fate in their hands. God save Japan and the world from tepco. lol Can you say Doh? 3:25 mark. 25 ft long 1036 LBS.

We are facing north. The high east wall is to our right. The glowing thing that Knuck spotted is on the left {west} side of the pool, which seems to have a liner.

Whatever this wreckage is, its on the east side of the pool. That wouldn't be a diagnal handle, I see, would it?

Unit 3: FPC skimmer surge tank level

This may be nothing....but of course very suspicious of TEPCO.

24 hours before the steel beam fell into Unit 3 SFP...the Skimmer Surge Tank Level was reported on both Japanese and English rpt has:

PTWm (as of 11:00 , 9/21 )

www.tepco.co.jp...

Never saw this reported before. Does anyone know what "PTW" stands for?

- Purple Chive

And Moch finds this in the TEPCO rpt (only released in Japanese):

Tepco states no significant change in radiation level of atmosphere and pool water, and also the temperature were observed, but the data showed they measured extremely high level of radiation (173.0 mSv/h) at 9:28 of 9/21/2012. It was measured at 2m above from the surface of the pool before the accident.

I am told by our Scandinavian friend that it looks like part of the old cooling system, in my zoom on wreckage.

Long time lurker. Hadn't seen this posted anywhere but enenews, not much discussion. Talking about SFP 4 how can the pool be empty of fuel thats more than 1500 fuel rods.......wtf.

At 14:00 in

Fairewinds’ Arnie Gundersen, Nuclear Engineer: [Tepco] said, ‘There’s nothing in the fuel pool to burn,’ and the crowd went nuts.

This is a crowd that’s normally flat; they started screaming at Tokyo Electric. It was a switch. They were flat, then they were the loudest crowd I’ve ever heard.

There’s an enormous amount of distrust in Japan…

To mercyful, I think tepco was implying that the 1535 fuel assemblies {80 rods per assembly} could not burn. Not that they weren't there.

3600 Bq inhaled by Tokyo citizen in average:
Tokyo metropolitan Municipal Office released Official Report that
"3600 Bq was inhaled by Tokyo Citizen in average".
The period covered is from Mar.11, 2011 to Sept.,30, 2011.
This covers radioactives inhaled from the AIR only.

I took a screen cap and tweeked it a bit. This #3 pool film is not great.

I was wondering if Knuck knew a way to maybe bump up the contrast and darken just a bit, on the film, the way I can do it with screen caps?

What is different from unit 4, which has completed debris removal, is that columns and beams of unit 3 are bent inward. Because many of the columns and beams of unit 4 were bent outward,

Just a thought - why are we not seeing any radiation "hits" on these images? The ones from the 25th on the Tepco photo library do not have masses of light spots. I find that really strange since we know there is (or should be) a lot of radiation in that water.

Can someone explain this to me please?

Still going up:
www.tepco.co.jp...

All I can find so far from TEPCO press release...but doesn't really explain the sharp temp rise:

-At 9:37 AM on September 25, Unit 1 spent fuel pool alternative cooling system was stopped for replacement of the secondary system pipe with polyethylene pipe (Pool water temperature when the system was stopped: 29.0℃). Though the system is planned to be suspended until September 28, there will be no problem with pool water temperature management as the temperature increase rate is estimated to be approx. 0.09℃/h.

-At 12:20 PM on September 25, Unit 1 reactor injection water amounts were adjusted as follows since the amounts had decreased. Feed water system: Increased from approx. 2.5m3/h to approx. 3.0m3/h, reactor core spray system: Increased from approx. 1.9m3/h to approx. 2.0m3/h
