Yeah I felt it a couple hours back. Felt the car shake while we were at the store getting supplies.

Supposedly there have been a couple since that one.

Has anyone offered up the theory of a tsunami bomb or a nuclear bomb detonation in the ocean?

Can it be ruled out that some country did not detonate a nuclear device in the ocean?

a nuclear bomb to displace that much water and energy? probably not... especially when theres evidence of foreshocks, aftershocks all up and down the fault line next to japan

en.wikipedia.org...

Would require a 336 megaton nuke to cause this earthquake. Largest ever was 50-57 megatons. Japan is on a fault line and has a history of earthquakes so I doubt it was caused by anything man-made.

If they are I haven't heard them mention it on their news. They're getting small quakes but I think that's it.

SECRET WARTIME experiments were conducted off the New Zealand coast to perfect a bomb that could trigger devastating Tsunami waves, according to government files declassified in Auckland.

The New Zealand Herald, citing the files, said that senior United States defence officials believed the weapon had the potential to be as deadly as the atomic bomb. But the tsunami bomb, as it was known, was never fully tested and the war ended before the project was completed.

Just curious, when was the last time an earthquake resulted in tsunamis on multiple continents?
I can't remember one.
