I still dont understand how you can have a complete discussion about an event, which caused a second event without mentioning both.

That's funny. With regard to information posted here (as opposed to conversational stuff), I've seen nothing posted in this thread that wasn't either regurgitated content from one media outlet or another (often misrepresented), statements of obviously made up "facts", and wild guesses. The major use I've gotten out of it is precisely all the links to various "MSM" news stories, images and videos.

Don't know if this has been posted latest is, 801 people have been killed by the quake, 9500 people are missing in a town called Minamanisarinku. 3000 people have been rescued, and hundreds of thousands are currently being evacuated. Fifty countries have extended offers of aid, and ten US naval ships are currently on their way, some of them currently there with troops helping in the search and rescue operations, A team from LA is currently on root, that is currently. Minus the Nuclear meltdown concerns.Google has also launched a database to help people find loved ones.

Has anyone seen any news of the underground natural gas storage areas in the quake affected areas? like real close to the Power plant with the reactor trouble ?

Still can't get my head around the idea of building a nuke plant anywhere near a storage area of 200,000 tons of natural gas, but trying to do some looking to see what shape they are in after the quake.

There has been fires and explosions and numerous storage facilities and refineries, including petro chemical. But I have heard nothing of any facilities near Fukashima that has gone up, closest is I think sixty miles south of there. But I will do a bit of digging for you if anything else pops up.

Excellent information, I was discussing this earlier with someone who suggested consuming large amounts of Iodized Table Salt. I was doubtful that was a good idea and mentioned that it would likely be harmful in quantities large enough to help I didn't have these details to explain the exact dangers of such a plan. Thank you for posting this information, I'm sure others have thought of Iodized Table Salt as a possible solution.
