Hummingbird in my hand

Today a hummingbird flew in an open window right past my head , scared the poo right outta me ! Giant mosquito ? Moth ? What the heck was that *also almost dove to floor* .

It kept hitting his wittle head on the ceiling and finaly landed on a closed window sill . I approached him slowly and cupped my hands around him ( their hearts beat so fast it is amazing , I could feel it thru my fingers)

Took him outside and opened my hand , and he perched on my finger , gave me a look , and then went back to hover mode and took off .

Way cool !!! then I took a break in the sun and ate a plum .

Poor bird it looks trapped in your hand...

I was very gentle , and just had him surrounded in there not really touching , he could almost flap . took a pic on the way to the door . He was more trapped in the room bashing his little squash against the ceiling .....FREEBIRD !!!!
