once again another political figure ignores the pleas of the people and sells out.

wisconsin got all the attention but they werent the only state to ignore the cries of its citizens. Here in Idaho the state superintendent Tom Luna decided conveniently AFTER the most recent election to drop a bomb on the citizens of Idaho...

his bill would dramatically INCREASE class size, eliminate tenure for the teachers, restrict unions from negotiating contracts, and force students to take some online classes. He claimed these radical changes were necessary to save money and fix the broken system

of course the people here were outraged. this wasnt saving any money. it was simply redistribution of wealth as it slashed teacher positions and gives that money to the corporation selling the laptop and online courses

Superintendent Luna also happened to receive a large "campaign" contribution from this out-of-state corporation.

Everyone knows he is a total crook. Yet the local media mocks us for protesting. the students even got involved staging a massive walkout one day during school.

the system is broken. money from corporations has corrupted every politician around. Its a really helpless feeling to put so much effort into protesting, writing letters, etc only to see the will of the people ignored repeatedly by these criminals

With legalised bribes corruption is rampant. Conflicts of interest are not addressed, but encouraged. This is one of the main reasons why corporations are taking over. This is so entrenched throughout the political process I am not sure if it can be fixed without a revolution. The courts have been no help and have made matters worst lately.

There seems to be no one on our side. We've been robbed in every concievable way and the illegal court system keeps us at bay. The cops exploit and abuse us, the politicians lie, steal and whore themselves to non-human corporate entities, and the military is busy killing and looting innocent people all around the World.

No one is on our side.

legalised bribery

Now were talking big bucks, these fines are nothing but agreed kick backs/Bribes being paid.

Headlines:
RBS fined $612 million for rate rigging

Standard and Poor’s Credit Rating Agency Charged With Fraud in Sub-Prime Mortgage Ratings

This headline may not squarely fit in but could be considered.
BP hit by new $34bn Deepwater Horizon claim

a deserved bump
