UK Uncut Hacks Vodafone Website

It seems the passwords to a number of blogs on Vodafones website have been leaked, and as such UK Uncut who are angry at the cuts being made to UK charities etc equate to a similar amount of tax Vodafone managed to dodge (around £6billion) have took to posting their displeasure on the site.

UK Uncut, the anti cuts direct action group [1], this afternoon hijacked a Vodafone website and posted blogs demanding that the company pays its tax. At around midday, UK Uncut took over the blogs on the 'World of Difference' website [2], Vodafone's flagship Corporate and Social Responsibility initiative.

And more are expected apparently as UK Uncut appears to know all the passwords - which were leaked by someone disgruntled at Vodafones tax evasion.

UPDATE: Vodafone have now pulled the entire blog side of their site down.

its nice to see that people are actually doing something, the times are changing, politics are becoming more transparent than ever and the people are not too pleased with everything that they have been getting away with for a very long time.
