You guys remember the sinkholes in South America?

Well, there's plenty over in China now also:

are these sinkholes increasing in regularity?

This one happened in Guatemala in June 2010, these things are scary.

Well their main cause is anthropogenic. So when you see new areas being deforested, polluted and new buildings, structures built there. You see more and more sinkholes.
