To be entirely honest I have no idea if this is fake or not, I just randomly stumbled across it on the net...I'm no graphic designer, so I have no idea how to tell if it is indeed a fake.

I do remember however, seeing videos from the soviets running afterlife experiments on animals -this I know to be true. But did they take things just a little too far in this image?...you decide.

incase image does not appear in full on your screen, here is a direct link files.abovetopsecret.com...

There's a video/thread about the dog's head here
And one here.

So this subject definitely has some threads...
I would imagine the pictures are real.

Now the robot, thats interesting!!!
I never saw those pictures before.

Wow, awesome post. Never heard of anything like this and those robot suit are awesome. Just to think, these experiments went on that long ago. Imagine what they are experimenting with today.. Some mind altering sh*t to think about.

The text is not very specific, rather vague and overly simplistic titles and very basic descriptions semi scientific dont add anything of value. They indicate the head repeatedly and even go into detail that the dogs name is kolya, (common russian nickname for nickolas) why waste time of pointing out the obvious repeatedly?. Would seem to me that the robot body is unlikely and an obvious overreach in its complexity for its time for a proof of concept vehicle. The real problem isnt even the machine, but the organism surviving to function without impairement and actually expected to way above it's natural level of function

A dog controlling a robot? Lokks pretty creepy to me. Why wouldn't they get a chimp to do it?

The robot immediately brought to mind for me the robot that appeared in the movie "Mars Attacks".

Seems to me that movie also had decapitated heads kept artificially alive much like those creepy dog head pics in that book. Coincidence?

Almost all of the soviets medical experiments were done using dogs as guinea pigs. Not to mention their early space program.

like I said, "randomly stumbled upon"

It is one thing to keep a severed dog's head alive. Quite another to harness the brain activity to the electrical circuits of a robot, especially one that isn't configured like a dog! This is probably some of post-war II Soviet propaganda.

the dog head re animation is real
vids can be found of the experiment
it was more like they removed the body and attached it to a blood machine then was able to keep the head alive for some time.

i think the robot pics are fake.
ebaumsworld is a comedy oriented site.

that's exactly what it is...ridiculous, childish propaganda.

nothing more than a feeble attempt to 'prove' the superiority of the soviet scientific efforts. and, to discount the majesty of a natural process that will never be under the control of sadists who want to control everything.

again, let me say it....this is the way socialists / communists operate - empty, baseless lies and unsupported claims of a centrally planned 'excellence'.

Not saying yes or no. But the Pics of the robot don't look right to me. Haven't pulled out Photoshop yet to really start drilling down to the details but first glance doesn't look right if you only look at the robot and ignore the people.

Comedy oriented, yes. But of late they have been including more and more alternative topic...Vids of UFO's, the paranormal, cryptology and such.

seen the dog head revival vid lol its pretty crazy seeing that u can actually revive something somewhat with only a head n some machinery, it actualy looks kinda simple. take a head hook up the major or prob all veins into a circuit that pumps the blood one part mixes with oxygen then pumps it into the subject... an that should do it lol..
but i never seen that robot suit.. that #s totally bad ass. after cheneys new heart fails they putting him in one of those

and thats like 40+ years ago isnt it? bet yo balls they tried humans in that
