POSSIBLE SPOILER-The Village

HEY, don't read it if you don't want a possible spoiler....seriously....











I've been hearing alot of noise about the "creature" in the woods being modern man... Personally, I think that rumor is dead on, and will make for a good twist.... Any other ideas? Granted, there isn't much to go on for the trailers, but seeing is how the red slash is how they denote buildings for demolition, I'm thinking he isn't so slick with this one....(as he was with Sixth Sense, one of the best mind-f**k movies of all time, hehe....)

I probally won't see this one after Sighns, which was horrible. He made it right with The 6th Sense, but SIghns was just pretty crappy.

I'll go look around and see if I find anymore rumors on the creature.

This a new film by M Night Shyamalan then?? I aint heard about it :/

So far, Gaz I've found nothing real except this which are the terms of the villagers and the creatures.

I: Let the bad color not be seen. It attracts them.
II: Never enter the woods. That is where they wait.
III: Heed the warning bell, for they are coming.

So far, I have also read that the twist is awful and one of the worst written.

This is what I found.










Supposedly the village is a amish type group of people with no technology... the evil that lies beyond the forbidden woods is simply the regular world we all live in... We are the "monsters" that are coming into their world. With our technology and sin and godless ways. The "monsters" are construction people who have come to demolish the village for some purpose... a new road or something... and their lan d has been seized... the red marks on the houses are what the construction crews use to mark the houses for demolition.

M. Night's "twists" couldn't be more obvious if he cast Chubby Checker.

I only liked 6th Sense, the twist was somewhat surprising. Sighns was horrbiblem not only did they use only 2 lightbulbs init, but the logic was idiotic. Water can kill these aliens yet they attack a planet where its 3/4 water and where most animals are over 94% water, mainly the humans.

close... but still off. good try though.

i loved this movie. thought provoking. deeper then horror. more relavent then horror.

So what was it then and how much were we off?

you havent seen it? if so and you are not going to see it for personal reasons... then cool i'll tell you.

man i still like this movie. the twist was the SIKE it pulled on the media. awsome.

no offence but this movie sucked, it had some ok bits in it but i thought it was a pretty rotton film
