Is it a coincidence that the extreme weather and craziness we're having coencides with the Super Moon? There were Super Moons in 1955 - 1974 - 1992 - 2005. We all know that the moon causes high tides and if you ask Medics, they will tell you that on full moons they get more calls than usual. So, do you think the quakes, the cracks in Hawaii and the Middle East, etc. have any thing to do with The Super Moon?

According to accuweather.com the moon will be at it's closest it's ever been for 90 years.

Did anything significant happen during the 1955 - 1974 - 1992 - 2005 supermoons?

Just to offer the MSMs take on things: Could 'supermoon' next week disrupt Earth's weather?

But Pete Wheeler of the International Centre for Radio Astronomy said to treat any warnings of an impending apocalypse with scepticism.

'There will be no earthquakes or volcanoes erupting, unless they are to happen anyway,' he told news.com.au.

Alas, it's not as interesting as TechVampyre's offering (which was both an informative and enjoyable read - cheers

Reading your link 1955. does seem very simular to the weather they have had in UK this year.

actually 1955 & 1974 are vvery significant to me.. the year I was born & the year I met my husband, quite funny really both being years of super moons.

I don't really remember anything outstanding, although as this is also a time combining solar activity, who knows what may be coming along
