the chinese are saying that almost all of the Christian nations are way more advanced than non-christian nations.

this is true and it's a fact.

i doubt if the english kept to their druid beliefs and still ran around in dearskins like savages with their face painted like geronimo, they wouldn't now be having 4:00 tea with crumpets.

Thankfully the Holy Roman empire civilized them.

the fact is God blesses nations with His children in it.

Any Asian Country should be persecuting Christianity in their cultures. Its the saddest thing to see Asians, or any other culture for that matter, practicing Christianity.

Anglo-Saxon missionaries are the largest tumor on Earth.

Millions of people have had their cultures robbed from them because a bunch of over-zealous Europeans thought their religion was superior.

This conclusion is absolutely correct. It's pathetic seeing the brainwashed christ haters refusing to acknowledge the truth. What the Chinese should realize is that God is blessing China right now precisely because they have one of the largest active christian populations in the world. In fact by percentage China is a more christian nation than the US or europe. Only 4% of the US actually has a Biblical worldview. (Google the Barna poll on this issue).

In China, where being a christian is a potential death sentence, there are few fake christians. Here in the US it is fashionable to claim to be a christian but to behave otherwise and allow christ to have about the same influence over your life as the tooth fairy. Some say 10% of the Chinese belong to an illegal house church.

China wouldn't be a Christian Nation if it weren't for culture-raping white people.

The Native Americans had their own form of spirituality, of course it was the wrong one so we had to show them the "right" way.

The Aztecs and the Incas had their own spirituality, of course it was the wrong one so we had to show them the "right" way.

The Asians have had beautiful philosophies/philosophers and spirituality, of course we knew better than them so we had no choice but to infiltrate their Countries to learn them the correct way.

Christians in India to stop the heathens from practicing Hinduism.

Christians in Africa to save the heathens from voodoo.

I am so proud to be Caucasian and perfect in every way. To know that my culture, our God, and our way of life is the only way, the perfect way; and shoving our beliefs down the throats of the rest of the world is perfectly acceptable, because only Christianity is acceptable.

Christianity the religion transformed the West and made it great due to the Christian ethos it espoused.

Lol.

No.

Christianity just murdered millions of people in the name of God.

You want to know what changed the West?

Reason. Not faith.

Copernicus, Galileo, Isaac Newton, Tycho Brahe....

The scientific revolution, the Enlightenment period. THESE were the things that made the west great. Not a religion that made it Ok to look down on other cultures because they didn't worship the same God.

And curses those who don't know of his name?
Correlation does not equal causation.
It's the people who make a nation great, not the deity they worship.

Exactly my point.

There's that European "my culture is better than your culture you savages" thinking that lead to the conquest of "lesser" cultures around the world.

This Chinese think tank is thinking material success, not any other way, since it is the material success the Chinese envy.

This “Christian” West committed the foulest deeds in history, with slavery of millions of Africans, and the genocide of the Native Americans, then they went into third world countries and enslaved them for centuries through colonialism.

The success of the Christian West is the same success that the Roman Empire had through: PLUNDER, MURDER, and AND RAPE!

Look at the history of the years before the third world, including China, shook off western colonialism.
Still today many of the African countries are still backward because of what the “Christian" west did.

The Christian West united behind the foulest racism and religious bigotry the world has ever seen, that is the reason they have been “successful,” though the West has lost its very soul because the success they have is ALL MATERIAL and has nothing to do with the spiritual!

In the land of Mao, a rising tide of Christianity

Worshippers attend a service at a church in China’s Protestant heartland in the country’s east. By some estimates, China now has 100 million Christians, more believers in Christ than Communist Party members.(Ariana Lindquist for NPR)

Official Chinese surveys now show that nearly one in three Chinese describe themselves as religious, an astonishing figure for an officially atheist country, where religion was banned until three decades ago.

I knew Christianity was on the rise in China.

any objective student of religion would come to the same conclusion for the difference in christianity vs other ME religions is that christianity focuses on the relationship of the INDIVIDUAL and god where the demand is in treating all others as they'd treat themselves which is the prime directive from the mouth of jesus. If followed honestly it would tend naturally toward greater equality and self reliance (unless, perhaps one were a masochist). The other religions are about finding 'others' to exploit as beasts of burden which by nature require finding and creating out-groups to exploit and degrade at ones leisure. Self sufficiency based on ones own labours is quite a different proposition than finding others to enslave and abuse as so much subjuman cattle, as is the premise of other worldly belief systems.
Christianity is at its base about self sufficiency, and responsibly establishing moral based limits to a spread of options and leaving others alone to their own beliefs, notwithstanding or otherwise no way impeached by any particular or sum of actions of heretics through-out histor, unaware or uninterested in the basic and obvious precepts in the words of Jesus.
Christianity as spoke by jesus would harm no body intending no harm, Not so the others which need to prey upon others to survive and to profit amongst themselves. There may be greater wealth through exploitation and theft, but there's no real intent in getting everyone on board, because if they get everyone on board, who's left to steal from?

China has had a long relationship with Christianity...
...first contact was in 86 AD...
...but a significant Christian community did not develop there until the 7th century.

There was a period when the number of professed Christians in China...
...out-numbered those in Europe.

Further information can be obtained here...

Christianity in China is growing.

Is it coincidental that as Christianity is in decline in the West...
...that its economic strength and innovation is also in decline?

Please good sir, point out which words of jesus justify the murder of anyone, or justification of any worldly imperialism, and your point is made in full view.

Umm,,,

Should we wait for the particular cites or do you want to run a search first to make sure?

You do realize, that doctrine is not modified by any heresy of the alleged followers, right?
Ummm,
Of course You can provide US with your own clear and reasonable bona fides as to your own authoritative representation and interpretation of christian doctrine for us, right?

Waiting....

Did the Christians treat Africans and Native Americans like brothers? Or even Jews for that matter.

Let's take it to the next level, have the Chinese Christians done anything you dislike, yet?

Christianity is on the rise in Russia too.

Here is your Christian West modes operandi

www.aaanativearts.com...

“In the fifteenth century, two Papal Bulls set the stage for European domination of the New World and Africa. Romanus Pontifex …declared war against all non-Christians throughout the world, and specifically sanctioned and promoted the conquest, colonization, and exploitation of non-Christian nations and their territories. Inter Caetera ….officially established Christian dominion over the New World. It called for the subjugation of the native inhabitants and their territories,….”

That said . . . there are and have been good Christians, I would recommend the study of the history of John Brown, as an example of a good Christian, and other Christian abolitionists.

But what Europe did is not Christian and if anyone here says it is then I will challenge you.

You take power Hungary rape and pillage as Christian then I think you better check your beliefs out

And if you think Jesus justified what Western Europe did in his name then your Christianity is wanting.

Errr, Yes it is.
Economics isn't a magical process, China is currently putting measures in to assure they will become the main economic power in the next century, I'm pretty sure they don't just have Jesus on their side giving them cash.
Infact, one would think Jesus wouldn't support a country that is growing economically but instead one that is humble and poor, wouldn't he?

We all know what happened in the past, and we need to take into consideration the mindset of the people during that point in human history,

One needs to acknowledge the strides and reforms Christianity has taken to improve, we all need to grow up.

Christianity did not improve itself, the people forced it to change with the times.

Curiously at least by their actions , anyone claiming to represent christianity properly by worldly imperialism failed to do so in accordance with their claimed religious master. I can claim to have murdered, rapped and stolen in your name, so at what point does that make YOU responsible for the actions done in your name by me?
