The Windows software runs on some handheld computers.


The first virus to attack handheld computers running Microsoft's Windows Pocket PC software has been found.

It is called "Duts", and its existence has been revealed by the Russian security firm BitDefender.

That's horrible!
I always have my PocketPC turned on and linked online (wireless).
I guess someone will get to make an anti-virus program soon.

Almost sounds like a consiracy there:
Microsoft sells the software.
Microsoft pays someone to make viruses.
Microsoft sells the anti-virus software.
Microsoft sells newer "safe" software.
Microsoft pays someone to make viruses.
etc....

Yes, I use mine all the time, and what worries me is when out in public and someone tries to hot sync my PC!
