I'm pretty sure this is as good a spot as any for this thread.

So as of Saturday, gas here about 60 miles north of San Diego is
$3.80 a gallon for regular and
$4.00/gal for 91 Octane

I would like to know what the prices are where you are at. I will keep this updated

however, it is a lil cheaper
across the SC border

$3.49
$3.69

I think some places are just gouging
the prices up. Isn't there a law against this?

It's about 3.80. It was about 3.09 two weeks ago, literally. It has done up TOO much in two damn weeks.

It's pretty bad that I own my car and can't afford to drive it anywhere. Gas needs to go down!

I buy diesel

$3.84 in Knoxville TN

Fuel Prices are a reflection of the worthlessness of our Dollar.

Sure speculators are a part of it , but the true reason that it is going out of site is the devaluation of our currency by printing too much. Thanks Ben

I stopped taking the car to work about 4 years ago. I now cycle the 18 kms to work. I have lost weight for it and feel much more energetic. We only drive when we really need to.

well that might work for some folks, but
it won't work for those people who have to take
about 200 lbs of tools and a ladder and power
tools to work everyday. That has to be hauled
either by horsepower or a horse.

The average gas price in Dallas is $3.41/gallon.

On a side note, these gas prices are such a scam. If you figure that you can get (on average) 119 gallons of gasoline per barrel of crude and gasoline prices are up $0.34 per gallon (on average). That is an extra $40.46 the petroleum companies are making, minus the cost of the rise in cost per barrel of crude. So, since the Libyan crisis started, the petroleum companies are making about $32 more per barrel profit off us than they were before.

No price gouging? Yeah right!

Hopefully all of you are looking on the internet "cheap gas" sites to find the best deal in your neighborhood.

I would do this too, however if things go well I am going to be a delivery driver, so I will have no choice because they will not let you deliver pizzas on a bike. IT would get cold and probably messed up, too. I don't know if I can take that job, but darn it I need the money. It's time for us to go to the stations at night and steal the gas!!!! If there even is a way!
