Come on not another religious bashing thread...can we find some common ground here and just respect other peoples belief in whatever religion they may subscribe to?

I've never heard of the Faith Channel, but if you're preparing a list of inconsistent things people who claim to be Christians do, I'm afraid it will be a very long post. I'll have to look up the source, but the statement was "The Church is not a museum for saints, but a hospital for sinners."

I had an ex boyfriend about 25 years ago, that won a Texas mickey of whiskey at a church casino night.

They do promote odd things for religion.

The truth is a person cannot be a follower of Jesus and a republican. They might be a Christian, because Christians have been some of the most violent and hypocritical people on the planet.

Its not the religion that is the problem, Its the people who practice it the wrong way. Their day in the sunshine will come

It depends on the church! Not all churches oppose drinking alcohol...

I guess the point of this is I grew up partially Methodist, then partially Baptists, then was introduced to the Catholics cause my wife is Catholic. But we were married by a judge.
I like Catholicism, you can drink and gamble, and just confess your sins.
Baptist, well it varies, and methodists are just plain boring.
Thought about becoming a buddist, but I just like to enjoy and embrace life,do good to others
have fun.
But it was just so ironic,I guess to see that ,it's like sensualized religion, trying to get
the veiwership for more money.
Remember ,who was it,Jim Bakker and Tammi Faye Bakker back in the 80's.
It's just that part of it makes me sick.
