This rig was shut down two weeks ago, and yet it still caused problems. What needs to be done to stop this from happening anymore? Didn't anybody learn from the Deepwater Horizon spill, it was less than a year ago! Something needs to be done so these fires don't keep happening.

The rig was shut down but I can't help
but wonder what might be down under
the rig that could have been damaged.
Suppose we will have to wait for a more
extensive report - if they decide to give
us one.

Ugggh.....they always say "wasn't in production" I really don't think anything has changed since the BP incident. If you look at the sheer number of rigs just off the coast, the odds are definitely against those of us who live here. It's a catch 22 though. The oil industry is the life blood of the state....and the very thing that keeps us going may be the death of us....how ironic
