Four time bombs that will blow up Wall Street

www.marketwatch.com

Wall Street’s corrupt banks have lost their moral compass … their insatiable greed has become a deadly virus destroying its host nation … their campaign billions buy senate votes, stop regulators’ actions, manipulate presidential decisions. Wall Street money controls voters, runs America, both parties. Yes, Wall Street is bankrupting America.

Wake up America, listen:

•“Our country is bankrupt. It’s not bankrupt in 30 years or five years,” warns economist Larry Kotlikoff, “it’s bankrupt today.”

A very interesting read, which brings up quite pertinent points, and offers some likely potentialities should this runaway freight train continue careening towards the proverbial brick wall.

Wall Street has indeed hijacked America, and this hijacking has been ongoing for many decades, however it appears to be reaching a crescendo of monumental proportions in recent times---An exponential explosion of criminality and power and wealth grabs, victimizing the many at the hands of the few, who have the game rigged and all the decks stacked against us.

But will their insatiable greed and concurrent instigations of mass robberies and creation of suffering be their own undoing?

Will they push the masses back's so far up against the wall that a literal Tunisia-style uprising and revolt takes place against them? Suffering American citizens, with nothing left to lose going up against the almighty, powerful criminal Banking cabal controlling the financial fate of america, and the world at large?

The problem has always been we do not know WHO to introduce to Madame Guillotine.

President Woodrow Wilson, 1913: "Some of the biggest men in the U. S., in the field of commerce and manufacturing, are afraid of somebody, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it."[1]

President Franklin Roosevelt, 1933: "The real truth of the matter is, as you and I know, that a financial element in the larger centers has owned the Government ever since the days of Andrew Jackson."

So, if we are bankrupt, where do we go to file? Brussels? The UN? I think Chapter 7 and a big finger to China is exactly what we need. Let's hit the reset button.

Well I agree with everything said here 110%, but I fear is still nothing but words. I just wish something would happen!.

Either they implode it, or we implode it. or they just get it straight and we carry on as if nothing happened. Option three cannot happen now. its too late. But the waiting is really stressing me out!

And that fear is why I feel before any next crash, before the contagion in the ME spreads to the West the elite will drag us into yet another war.. the fear that their necks will literally be on the line must be an immense driver.

The political, economic and militaristic landscapes are in my opinion similar to that in the prelude to WW2, especially the screwed up foreign policies... while the social landscape is similar to many of the previous uprisings in the last millennia...

I do feel we are about to engage in massive change, but the question is, will it be at the will of the people, or the will of the elite.. I guess only time will tell...

It will be at the will of the elite, they will let people think it was their idea, but at the end of the day - the elite will decide when/if things will change, and it will be to their benifit, not ours. We will just think we are getting a good deal....... Nothing will change (in a political/societal sense) until we throw down the ball and chain and refuse to play their game...
In my humble opinion

This train is a run-a-way. The ones that started it are grabbing as much as they can and jumping off before it hits. We will be the ones left to clean up the wreckage. I hope I am wrong but I fear there is no way to stop it now. The whole system is going to crash and it is only a matter of time. People that lived though the 1929 crash are about to see it happen again but this time is is going to be worse. The reason it will be worse is ENCONOMIC GLOBALIZATION. Before when one economy crashed the rest of the world was safe because they were not all tied to each other. But now we have networked them together is such a way as when one crashes to pulls down another one with it. ENCONOMIC GLOBALIZATION was a very bad idea if you ask me. There was not enough done to sheild each economy from the next. In the end this could mean that the economy of the whole world could crash. Then who do we ask for help?

Eisenhower warned us about the "Military-Industrial Complex", Kennedy called attention to "Secret Societies" and now we have to "Financial-Political Complex" to be worry about. Good grief, Charlie Brown!

What should happen is the people should rise up aka Tunisia/Egypt.

A peoples panel should be installed and they can look at every single person who has been involved in the financial scam over the past 10 to 20 years.

Any person they agree has acted in a criminal way they can have jailed and all their assets confiscated including money, property and anything else of value.

Any money raised thorugh the sale of these assets the panel will decide how to distribute for th benefit of the population.

The point is that it doesn't matter if somebody has obtained money by deception or morally illegal means, the same money can be clawed back because presumably the criminal has either banked the money or bought something with it. Only a small amount can be consumed and made unretrievable and that money went back into the economy and helped somebody have a job.

What they have done with the stimulus and the bailouts was buy time. They did not purchase that time cheap and it is not a lot of time they have bought. The comeuppance from this time buying effort is about to hit. That is a no win situation. They are out buying islands off the coast of nations that have no extradition treaty with the US. There is little else they can do.

I am happy to say that even though at the time Bush purchased a big plot of land in Paraguay they had no extradition with the US their government has since then signed an extradition treaty with the US. I am betting that piece of land is now up for sale.

It seems to me that since we went off the gold standard that the dollar is based on the belief of the American people and the people of the world that a dollar is a dollar regardless of inflation.Perhaps when that belief ends is when the money collapses and the end begins. So when the people figure out that their currency is a confidence game and has no real value they will know that they have been had by the bankers. Wonder what will happen then?

Excellent but scary and sad find.

The widening wealth gap, capitalism’s new rule-by-anarchy, the high cost of feeding the Pentagon’s costly war machine, and the huge global population explosion.

It took 30 years to get to this point. And it won't go away with election cycles. Maybe if churches start issuing voters guides on how legislatures voted on favors to Wall Street and corporations, change could happen.

This has all been planned as most here know, and when it crashes, they will come up with just the solution to our problems, of course only after much bloodshed and war, and people are beaten to their limits.

The solution will be consolidation of more power into the hands of the few, and the selling point after this "horrible bloodshed" that the world will witness will be to say no more wars and let as unite under a common banner.

We need to go the opposite direction by buying local goods in our own area, and taking the power away from the globalists.

Look what happened not long ago when some people tried to make their own local currency. They were shut down very fast. They can't have people being independent of the system. Look at all the central banks and the money the fed injected into them throughout the world also. It makes then dependent and connected to the system so that they will fall when they pull the plug.

I would not be surprised if they are also behind the uprisings throughout the world, and that the anger against Wall Street will also grow, but the ones responsible will be long gone when the people rise up against them, as they are being goaded to.

History repeats itself,don't forget......

I could see it getting out of hand, fast.

Pol Pot became leader of Cambodia in mid-1975.[4] During his time in power, Pol Pot imposed a version of agrarian socialism, forcing urban dwellers to relocate to the countryside to work in collective farms and forced labor projects, toward a goal of "restarting civilization" in a "Year Zero". The combined effects of forced labour, malnutrition, poor medical care and executions resulted in the deaths of approximately 21% of the Cambodian population.

but if something were to actually take place this couldn't be a weekly column. don't have to be on ATS very long to note the redundancy. the odd part is how often its the same OP just re-phrasing last weeks sentiments.
