This video is from about a year or so ago. Ask yourself...how much has been done about our out of control government since this came out? This I am sure has has been posted here before but is worth posting again (hopefully going viral) in the ongoing effort to wake the masses up if we are to have even the slightest chance of taking back control of our nation. Please pass this on to anyone that you think might even care about their nations sovereignty and freedoms and would be willing to do something about it:

As George Carlin once said "People have been bought off by gizmos and toys in this country and no one questions anything anymore." The USA needs to have a second revolution. One that will put the country back into the hands of "We The People" instead of the current ownership who relies on "We the Sheeple" The citizens, in their complacency, rely on government to fix the ills of the nation not realizing that the government caused the problems in the first place. How does one wake up the masses? A two-by-four up the side of the head? Come on people we need to educate the rest of the world before it is too late!

Thank you for even caring to listen.

The ULTRA scary thing about this, is that this could apply to any given nation in the world.

Think 9/11 was bad, I full feel that what we have seen since, makes this pale in comparison.

Welcome to the 21st Century

Tea Party. Wow, that was some seriously funny stuff. I thought it was an SNL skit until it just kept going and got less and less funny. You can tell what demographic they want: the kind who get suckered in by men wearing costumes in the candle light.

Honestly, I'm glad there is a movement... I don't care how ridiculous they get, either. Just being there and taking away from the two-party monopoly is good for us. I just hope these guys won't be our only option.

This is also why I'm interested in Ron Paul lately. I don't agree with all of his policies but it doesn't matter because his biggest policy is to take federal power away and give it to the states. That's something every Tea Partier, Socialist, Republican, Democrat, etc can get behind.

"Sucking the hind teat of a dead cow?" - That's why my milk tastes sour!
He can keep his representative Democracy (whatever that is)
I'll keep my Republic, thank you very much.
Still worth a watch though....

I think the main reason Americans are befuddled and do nothing is because what has happened to the US is unique. We've never experienced Corporate Communism before nor has any other nation.
We couldn't label it because it was a new phenomenon. The old fascist labels didn't fit the bill nor did any other "ism" describe the takeover of America by the banks and corporations,
This is my working thesis anyhow. What's happening today is closer to communism than anything else, but instead of Proletariat revolution we've had a Corporate revolution.
Like all good socialists they've made sure to redistribute the wealth - only this time it's upward to those who already "have".
Welcome to America of the have-nots and the have-mores.
The cycle will continue until lead starts to fly.
Voting today is like putting cash in a vending machine that only accepts debit cards.

Yeah but we get to do the endless cycle of who is better to rule, Democrat or Republican. It is endlessly funny.

This sums up the video perfectly.

You do realise that the 2 are not incompatible don't you?

A republic just means not a monarchy.

A representative democracy means a democracy where those elected represent the voters.......as opposed to a direct democracy where there are no representatives - the voters en masse decide everything.

So...actually...the USA IS a representative democratic federal republic.

the UK, by way of contrast, is a representative democratic constitutional monarchy.

Perhaps you are confusing it with the indirect elections for the PotU?

So the PotU is not actually elected by a representative vote (ie he is not elected by the citizens of hte USA) - he is, instead, electected by the representatives the citizens vote for, who then vote on their behalf.
