My VERY frightening dream from 2-28-11, can anyone help me?

A few nights ago I had a dream that was probably one of the most realistic and scary dreams I've ever had.

I was in a pretty nice house, which I've never seen before, but am assuming it was my uncle's new house. My mom's side of the family was all there, just hanging out. When all of a sudden my uncle stumbled into the room and blood started dripping out of his eyes, ears, nose, mouth and finger tips. Everyone started to panic and call 911. As my family members were giving medical aid to my uncle, my grandma came into the room to help out. She turned towards me and she had very dark purple bags under her eyes, like blood was pooling up underneath her skin.

The next thing that happened was I started to hand out my three assault rifles, a hunting shotgun, a few hunting / target rifles, and a few pistols to my family members. I then took my tactical / home defense shotgun and my .45 and started to look for my other .45. I wasn't able to find my second .45 by the time one of my other uncles, (who is actually younger than I am) stumbled into the room with the same symptoms and told us that there were emergency services outside.

I continued to look for my other handgun, and my aunt went outside to let the EMTs in. I heard my aunt screaming about men with masks and guns, and I looked outside. What I saw was exactly what I was worried about. There were men outside in full swat gear and gasmasks, along with EMTs in what appeared to be biohazard suits. I went outside without my shotgun, and by this time I had found my other .45, so I had both handguns tucked into my holsters in the small of my back.

The swat looking guys started to yell at me to go back inside the house and lock all doors. I asked them if they were gonna send help inside to help my sick family members. They said that they weren't gonna be able to help. I went back inside and grabbed my shotgun and told all my family members to take cover and prepare to exchange fire. I pulled out my .45 and fired two rounds through the window at the swat looking guys........


That's when my alarm went off and the dream ended. It scared the crap outta me and I would really like to know if it has any hidden meaning. If there is anyone out here on ATS that can help me with the meaning of this dream. It has been a few days and it is still bothering me.

If the dream meant anything, it's probably based off of some pent up frustration with the inadequacy of the police to protect and serve. In your dream you lashed out at them, all in all this dream sounds pretty harmless, it's totally normal to have some pent up anger towards police. The rest of it was just fluff.

I have dreams often but never anything that riveting.
Most of my dreams are those of the apocalypse (earthquakes, nukes, meteors, etc.)
I say keep those guns handy, wherever you are there may be an epidemic soon, and the swat guys are Martial Law.

were there any naked women in your dream? any spanking? any naked, fat broads wrestling in mud and/or jello? anybody getting smeared with whipped cream?

Dreams make amazing movies xD I did see a movie like that the other day. I can't remember the name but a creature would nest in a persons body by entering the naval. It just kepy finding other humans. Every single person would vomit blood and their eyes would have blood pouring out of it. Everyone thought it was a virus or something. Pretty funny movie

It sounds to me like a lot of information overload releasing itself at once. Your dream covered a lot of the most popular and current affairs that people are trying to process, protest, and getting frustrated with.

Family medical problems and EMTs in HazMat:
I would say that could be grounded in fears of the outcome of Chemtrails, GMO foods, chemicals in drinking water, Gulf Oil spill fallout, and other such topics that are very current right now.

Guns:
Whether or not you keep that many weapons handy, gun control laws, disarming the public, high price / limits on ammo availibity, etc.

Police/SWAT forces:
We are constantly hearing about how the Patriot Act and DHS are going to take away our last freedoms, create a police state and martial law, the FEMA camps and processing centers popping up, and the socialist agenda of the current political administration.

All in all, I think you are having a vivid release of pent up stress from information overload. I would seriously suggest a break from the world affairs and get your head wrapped around what pleases you and makes you feel at peace. Meditate on something positive, spend time with your family and closest friends, go on a nature hike or just turn off all stimulus and pet a dog / cat for 20 minutes.

You need a break.

I think it means you need to thin out that armory you have and send me some of those guns .

Just kidding, that is a wild dream. It had better just be some stress you are having, I don't want anything like the "The Stand" actually happening.

I just took a very long break from ATS. That dream had a lot to do with me signing back in for the first time in months. I'm in the middle of a two week vacation from work. I don't really have any stress right now. I have been spending a lot of time this last week with my dog. I don't know what else to say really. I rarely can remeber my dreams, but this was like it was actually happening.

2: We dispatched to a biological attack in dream sector 2461
began to secure the area when an armed male stepped out of his house
and the men started instructing him to go back inside the house and lock the doors.

2: He said "Are _you_ gonna send help inside to help my sick family members!?"

2: I said "I'm not going to be able to help, we have to secure the area before the medics can come in."

2: At least that's what I intended to say,
at the word secure I heard the door slam,
looked back to the front of his house to see it closed,
and then we started to recieve fire from his window.





1: Are you telling me that he was able to both speak with you,
and fire on your men.

2: We didn't, he woke up instantly.

Sure I can. Druids are pretty good at interpreting dreams. First of all, let me explain what a dream is.

A dream is your subconcious mind sorting out an issue in your life. It tosses in all sorts of wild elements, each of which stand (mean) something, and then there's the over all feeling you get from the dream. We all dream the same way, just about different things, because all our minds are working the same way. WE just have different issues as individuals. It's rare that I find a person who doesn't dream, because we all do.

That said, I went through and picked out the most important elements to find the correlations. There was a house, family, guns, men outside, a window, and shooting.

Next come the specifics: A house you thought was nice, though unfamiliar. Your family, uncles are not healthy. Guns, 11 total, giving them to family. Men outside, as if in quarantine. A window to watch through. Shots, 2 total.

Then the explanation: In a dream, a house usually depicts your mind. That means you have been thinking hard about something lately. As the others said, it's causing you stress. Maybe not, so let's go on.....Your mind in your dream was unfamiliar, but nice. To me, that means you are generally well-balanced and centered, but you have been thinking about something new, and you don't know how to address it. That's WHY you had this dream. Any negative emotions you felt were because of the unfamiliarity of the thoughts in your mind. Your dad's brother was the first to show symptoms. Symptoms of what? That whatever the WHY, he wouldn't agree with it. Strangely enough, your dad's other brother wouldn't either. I counted 2 uncles with the same condition, a condition your mind fabricated to help you figure out something. Blood in a dream usually indicates an injury, but symbolically could mean anger or frustration. They may be angry or upset about the WHY, maybe just misunderstanding you, same with grandma. Guns in a dream typically denote self-defense, and since this dream took place inside a house, you would appear to be willing to depend your position on the WHY. Since the house you were in represents your mind, naturally there is an inside and an outside. You had your family in your thoughts, but the men outside dictate the way you perceive the way society would think about your WHY. Yes, they appeared to be insulated for hazmat duty, and you perceived that the rest of society wouldn't accept what you are thinking about. You went back inside to collect you thoughts. Curiously enough, there are windows and doors in dreams too. Windows are usually your introspective thoughts (thinking), and doors your decision to act (motivation). When you went outside, you must agree you felt overwhelmed, and had to return inside to the safety of your own mind. That's why you looked out the window, so you could think about the WHY, and the act of shooting, merely an expression of your willingness to resolve this WHY, this issue you have with your uncles. Yes, that ties it up. You took 2 shots out the window. 2 uncles are in your dream, so do you see the correlation? Why not empty the whole clip, yanno?

To answer the WHY, think about the two uncles, and if there maybe some unfinished or unresolved business within the family. You guys seem like a pretty tight group, so you should be able to talk about it and solve it, and if nothing else, get it off your chest.

Dreams are never what they seem to be, but we have them to ease our conscious, and muddle through life. They help us to solve the puzzles in our own minds.

I guess some are thinking ebola virus which has no cure if I understand correctly. Of course, in the dream,
well likely you made the swats and emt at your door. Guns won't help that situation most likely. If they
were infected chances you were too. Guns or no guns it was already over. A no win situation.
One of my relatives who is around 30 had a dream where some soldiers came into the house..they hid in
the hallway along with the children..they begged for mercy from the soldiers..they said outside the sky
was a strange purple color as if some lasers had been used or something. I belive they said it was an
unusual dream for them to have and they were clearly puzzled.

Those would be the symptoms of a Nuclear weapon of some kind, perhaps the dreaded Neutron Bomb.

This dream seems to me to be a forewarning about a potential health problem, probably one that hasn't started to manifest in visible symptoms yet - the bleeding of family members may represent a loss of energy from the body's cells, the fighting may represent the conflict that occurs in the body during an immune response. It seems to be a somewhat urgent warning. You may wish to consider thinking about getting your health checked out, or at least keep your vitamin intake up etc.

Don't worry too much about it. It could be an opposite dream. They are dreams that will never come true but could be because you have had some problems lately. Or maybe the family has had a lot of sickness or death lately. I do read into Dreams and read by candle and I am physic. I am Native. Hope This helps if not please let me know. babyblueeyes
