SOHO Question...

Not really sure where to post this. I just got done looking at the SOHO gif image for this past week. My wi-fi is a bit slow, so I was able to see each pic for a couple of seconds as it was loading up.

Among other things The sun blew out a pretty large CME away from earth around the end of march 3rd and begininng of March 4th. Anyways...A big white splotch caught my eye first in C2 then C3 both around the same time. Photo of the splotch at that time is not posted in the photo section of C2, However it can be seen for a brief moment in the gif movie around 02-28-2011 between 9ish and 13ish near the center.

I checked C3 and it showed up again, this time it was in photo section.

So I guess my question is what could this be? I am just trying to learn more about SOHO and its images in general.

Well the they are the best source aren't they?

They've been monitoring SOHO for over 15 years, they should know what they're looking at.
