Thanks Jetsetter.

One for any Stargate fans

It does look small standing there, but against a black background, (which can be altered upon request should anyone wish) it's not that bad.

Getting it down to below the allowed 75k filesize was the killer.

I need to look through the thread and appreciate all this. That animated SG portal is NOWHERE on the web. I've looked and looked before for something similar.

Can you take a simple jpg and just make it flip left and right? I guess as a gif. But timed so it's not too fast?

Don't do it or anything, just curious. And still thinking.

This is my old standby avatar image, pretrimmed and stuff.

And this is just one I think is hilarious for no real reason.

sonicwhammy.20fr.com...

Again, don't do anything please, just curious as to creative thoughts.

Hey Rant,

Yes, I should be able to do that.

Meanwhile, here's a glimpse into the future:

The stuff he/she (I dunno) does with celebrites is pretty cool.

Jack,

Thinking of changing my avatar, but haven't gotten any real ideas as to what. If you are bored and want to throw one together, that would be great. Only if you are bored, though. Something serene would be nice. Thanks mate.

Only if you are bored, though.

Do you have any ideas for making my avatar look better? It's cool in that the lights selection is random (refresh page), but I'm not happy with the overall finished appearance. I was thinking along the lines of making the indicator look like it was in a machine of some sort. Maybe it should have someone's hand squeezing a lever below the lights. I can make the light bulbs light up, but I'm afraid I'm not that creative when it comes to overall design.
