You would expect her to tell us the truth that comets are pimped-out asteroids and intelligently controlled by the last of the Martians? That comets use their ion tails--when they have ion tails--for steering and that those cotton-ball comas really serve the purpose of an excellent insulation of the ship from the effects of a close passage to the sun?
