Does anybody else find this repulsive? He has every right to pray and express his religion, yet these "Christians" surround him and harass him, they even throw crosses at him while he prays. This is unChristian behavior. Muslims, Jews, and Christians all worship the same God.

This country needs more religious tolerance.

You can find verses in the Bible that say kill unbelievers. That guy talking at the end is ignorant of what the Bible says. It's the pot calling the kettle black.

They entered into a covenant to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul; and everyone who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, was to be put to death, whether small or great, whether man or woman. (2 Chronicles 15:12-13 NAB)

Suppose you hear in one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you that some worthless rabble among you have led their fellow citizens astray by encouraging them to worship foreign gods. In such cases, you must examine the facts carefully. If you find it is true and can prove that such a detestable act has occurred among you, you must attack that town and completely destroy all its inhabitants, as well as all the livestock. Then you must pile all the plunder in the middle of the street and burn it. Put the entire town to the torch as a burnt offering to the LORD your God. That town must remain a ruin forever; it may never be rebuilt. Keep none of the plunder that has been set apart for destruction. Then the LORD will turn from his fierce anger and be merciful to you. He will have compassion on you and make you a great nation, just as he solemnly promised your ancestors. "The LORD your God will be merciful only if you obey him and keep all the commands I am giving you today, doing what is pleasing to him." (Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT)

You can find good and bad in every religion, it depends on what you want to take out of it. Violence and intolerance in the name of religion is disgusting.

I guess all you can do is keep hoping that someday these poor brainwashed men and women will realize they were all duped into believing different versions of the same fairytale.

certainly the man has the right to pray like that.

similarly, the Christians have the right to pray and, in this case, protest and exercise free speech.

i think that, while certainly not pleasant and is very controversial, it is a wonderful thing to see folks bringing the Bill of Rights to life, in all its glory.

They should be reminded of the verse

For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Matthew 7:2

These are not Christians, these are bigots masquerading as Christians. There are many wolves in sheeps clothing. "By their works ye shall know them" simple right? I can call myself a millionaire all I want but does my bank account reflect that? I appreciate the point of this post religious tolerance and all that however it is clear to the observer this would not be called Christian behavior by Christ himself. Point made?

Eh, don't really care.....
The idiots crying Jesus the whole time were wanting attention and not really practising any form of religion, and the idiot kneeling on the ground was enjoying the attention. No one threw a cross at him, but it sure makes for a good title huh? Bigger things to worry about than trivial stuff like this......

It is indeed wrong to use religion to justify intolerance towards others beliefs. Hatred only harms oneself.

Here is some quotes from the Buddha on hate & anger

Whatever harm an enemy may do to an enemy, or a hater to a hater, an ill-directed mind inflicts on oneself a greater harm. -42 Dhammapada

One who, while himself seeking happiness, oppresses with violence other beings who also desire happiness, will not attain happiness hereafter. -131 Dhammapada

Overcome the angry by non-anger; overcome the wicked by goodness; overcome the miser by generosity; overcome the liar by truth. -223 The Muslim is practicing this, he didn't respond to their anger and hatred towards him.

Here is one that is also relevant to the video

Much though he recites the sacred texts, but acts not accordingly, that heedless man is like a cowherd who only counts the cows of others — he does not partake of the blessings of the holy life. -19 Dhammapada

Like fine dust thrown against the wind, evil falls back upon that fool who offends an inoffensive, pure and guiltless man. -125

I'm not defending these idiots but clearly a large group of radical "christians" were engaged in some sort of activity, the signs etc. indicate it was planned in advance. Perhaps that wasn't the right time or place to worship Allah, kind of like kicking a hornets nest and being upset you got stung.
And what's up with the guy carring the flags of Israel and praising Jesus, I thought Jewish people didn't believe in Jesus?

My heart hurts for the Muslim man in the video being interrupted during his prayers...but my heart hurt worse to see that group of parasitic religious fanatic excuses for human beings who believe their "god" is the "ONLY" one worth believing in. They are the kind of misguided fools that have caused wars, hatred, and inquisitions over the history of the world.

Organized religion breeds fanatic behaviour in ALL that are too weak to realize that each day they live is a tribute to the Creator in the way they react and treat their fellow human beings. These people will definitely learn that their actions will come back to them times three.

Yes, they are exercising their rights of free speech...but there are limits to what is tasteful and just plain tasteless!

Bet the Muslim guy forgives them...but he won't forget their actions.

I wonder if one of those morons had any clue, while they are screaming “Jesus, Jesus, Jesus”, that in Islam Jesus is one of the most respected and honored of their Prophets. This man has the right to pray and not be bothered by these people, clearly ignorant and not Christian, I could care less if you try and argue that the First Amendment guarantees the right to ignorant speech and ignorant protest against a peaceful individual paying his respects to his god.

May they await their divine trial with joy and splendor, for when they reach the gates of Heaven, they will be escorted on the path to Hell.

This is worse, it happened in Orange County, CA. I thought California was suppose to be pretty liberal? I guess it doesn't extend to the Muslim population. It's a shame people behave like this.

The isreali's believe that having people believe that isreali's believe in Jesus is very helpful to their cause.

Judaism accepts Jesus as a great prophet they just don't believe he was the son of god.

Very well said, Shirak. And you, too, Misoir. Thank you both! Maybe it's an "end time" thing, but these fake "believers" are really on a toot and seems like they're getting worse.

Perhaps he prays in that location regularly.

Or perhaps he shouldn't be deterred in his own faiths because another group is willing to prove they are skilled in the art of dickery.

While I do agree with you on the exercising of the right to free speech and religion displayed by both the protesters and the praying man, there is a point when it becomes ignorant harassment.

I highly doubt any person in that gathering of protesters has any knowledge of Islam beyond what they are fed by the MSM. They probably see every Muslim as a terrorist and believe that their prophet, Jesus, is the only one that counts.
Christians seem to forget that the Catholic based faiths are just as blood soaked as any other religion on this planet. The Inquisitions (Medieval, Roman, Spanish, etc) are a blight that most Christians will never bring up. The Crusades are not much better, but all too often some people find a way to justify these wars/battles. Lets also not forget that a group of science enthusiasts went from sharing ideas to becoming a shadowy figure looming over all mankind. Since the church decided that the Illuminati was not going to spoil their gig with all that fact and truth stuff and decided that a few examples needed to be made publicly (torture, death), they created a beast from something that was not.

So, yes I applaud them on both sides for holding their little vigils and exercising their rights, but I think a bit of decorum and introspection is in order when choosing these fields of battle.
