Simple question...

Do u want the world to end? and if so why?

The reason i ask is i see a couple types of people

1)The believers...the one that go out of their way to find as much evidence to show that planet x is coming, the pole shift is happening, galactic alignment.etc..and are disappointed when these topics are debunked.

2)The debunker that believes......this is someone that is open to believe and wants it to be real but temps fate by procrastinating and being a pessimist. real wants it to happen, and also slightly disappointed when the topics are debunked, yet maintain that "i knew it" attitude.

3) The un believer....this persons in their own mind are the rational ones.needs un disputed proof on the topic before making any leap towards the truth. and even if an Advanced galactic entity came down and sat on their chest they most like will say its cgi.

these are the majority of people on here of course there are others but these are the ones i am curious of especially when dealing with 2012 and general conspiracy theories.

Thank you all for reading and ill look forward to hearing your response please make serious replies even if they are short they all matter to me.

All the very best.

I don't want the world to end, its a beautiful amazing place...

We just need the hatred of one another to end.......we need to come together as a species for the better of all human kind.

Love everyone as you love yourself...its the only way.

Btw the world isn't going to end...

Lol... debunked? What's that?

You can follow all the propaganda and fear mongering, but with the end of this world... is the birthing of a much grander one. Be true to yourself and you might make it through.

Yes personally I want the world to end but not in the way people all think about it (chaos, anarchy and destruction) definitely not. The world how it is going by the time I write to you this article is at critical point. Too many corruption by world elite (banks, megacorporation, lobbyist, etc.) on the government and the mass are getting totally exploited by this true reality. Then what? Major changes has ... no NEED to occur and soon. Anyways, I'm a true believer that the world is going to change in a global consciousness awakening. What do you mean will you tell me? I mean the we all will, when the time is right, understand our true meaning and reason to be there.

You can believe it or not but march 4th is the critical date where everything begins. Prepare for great changes that's all I have to say.

yes i agree i dont want the earth to "end" but rather a change for a better way of experiencing life, i really dont care to live life just to get a house and fancy car i want to learn more i really think we arent livg up to our highest expectations, we are clearly living to make wealth and rich peopel to become more wealthy and powerful..

for the the world to change the way u are wanting it to..unfortunately or fortunately depends on what way u look at it..the world will end for some people if this change comes about..most are completely content with their car payments and mortgage it what they know and dont want to aspire to anything else.

Personally I want something to happen, but not for the world to end. If i wanted the world to end then i'd kill myself and end it there, but the truth is that instead i'll fight hard to survive.

i dont think all people who believe in planet x also believe that the world will end. many of them claim that it will have major effects on our planet, but species will survive. most believe that they will survive those events, some believe they have divine protection(religious ones) that will allow them to survive and see the new world.

a nuclear war has higher probability of wiping most of the worlds population before planet x

Im with you there, Planet x was just meant as an example not specifics..they were just the ones that came to mind.i do also believe that a change is happening that we are moving into a higher consciousness altho i believe also that not everyone will catch that "bus"

good somebody finally asked this question. i debated making an identical thread about a month ago, but never ended up putting one together, i think i was too busy watching Sumerian, Nibiru, Ancient Egypt, Elohim, 2012, FEMA, and D.U.M.B. video's online, and researching the conspiracy theory of Canada being the 'test' country for the NWO... oh to think of all the things i wouldn't be so well educated on now that i could teach a course on them, if i hadn't stumbled upon ATS lol.

I don't want the world to end, and I don't wish disaster/devastation upon anyone. that being said a tiny part of me wants to see something earth changing actually happen... i almost feel(probably because all this research has brainwashed me) that something devastating NEEDS to happen in the coming 1-2 years in order to change humanity. i don't know. it's weird. i don't want people to be killed, but it would have to happen i suppose.

i guess i just want history, prophecies, visions, predications, dreams, the Mayans, etc for once in my life to be dead spot on. i want something to happen, something big.

I would too see a full blown collaspe all the entire world where only 5% survive where they gather as a group and restart again from fresh, it's too crupted to contine in this fashion, how it happens I could care less. Ignorance on this scale is too far fetched mathmatically it's going to happen utter collaspe it's too far up on the learning curve in ignorances it's titering to topple.

Well, I want TSHTF, because I'm almost 22, and I'm sick of the uncertainty in these unstable times.

I want a real future. So the quicker I begin to help build that the better. Better also for my 3rd world brothers and sisters, who can't even get a piece of the fake system we have now.

It's not the way I want it to change. Understand carefully that what I just said is only my personal belief on how the world is going to become. You can't impose a way how to do something to somebody, that's against a basic concept of democracy ; liberty. Altough, even if I'm not accordgin to many things in this world and how it runs I still keep my ideas and try not to impose them to others.

I realized something,
after reading ATS for a long time,
and finally deciding to try a few posts.
If the world ended and everyone died except people
who know calculus 4 ... I have to admit. I'd be ok with that.

The end of the world, is a no go.

6 billion and still counting , is a lot of souls, on this small planet, we are running out of space.
If naure decide to cut down on people, it's ok with me.
If nature take me, it's ok with me.

I am nature and will allways be, so are you, and you shouldent worry.

A couple of things are going on here. As the posters in this thread demonstrate, most people (maybe almost all people) do not want the world to end. And yet the OP is making an honest point with this thread, in that there is a sense of "bring it on" that lurks on the Internet and in people's attitudes towards real life, too. How do we explain this nihilistic streak in the human soul?

Although he is increasingly discredited and was wrong about most things, Frued did have some insights into the human soul, and he discussed the Thanatos or "death drive" -- a controversial, postulated theory that something in us drives us on towards chaos, death, risk, and abandon. There is no doubt humans are complex and multifacited. Backed into a corner with nothing left to lose, a man may throw a Molotov coctail at shock troops in a food riot, while under different circumstances the same man wouldn't hesitate to take a boring desk job that would put him on the side of the oppressive elites. This is not hypocrisy-- for all but the true believers and ideologues, it's simply taking advantatge of what life has to offer, in the best way people know how at any given moment. People are full of conflicting drives and even conflicting perceptions, and we all must feel our way forward in the dark, buffeted this way and that.

Another thing -- as more and more people become more disenfranchised from the system, more alienated, more shut-out, with less invested in its maintainence, it becomes more and more a target of righteous rage and less and less a familiar protector of a fair and cherished normalcy. This, too, is simple human nature.

I want the world to end, but not the planet and sentient life. What I want to see end is this: If you don't have money------- you cannot have a quality of life. You cannot house and feed children and pets properly, much less yourself------ without money. THAT NEEDS TO END.
Every where I turn, there is this super aggressive ***flashing*** advertising in my face. It is UGLY, pornographic, slimy, unrelatable, unreal, so that, if a large meteor were to bullseye Madison Avenue and Paris supermodel runways, I'd jump for joy. That stuff NEEDS TO END!!!

Although the question is vague, I will answer in my own way.

I do not want to see the planet destroyed, or life on it wiped out. However, I do hope that some outside force (god, aliens, galactic radiation) wiped out all of humanity. In my life I have seen the beauty, wonders and goodness humanity is capable of. At the same time, I have seen the horrors, ignorance, deception, greed and corruption humanity is capable of. Having seen the two, and reflecting on history, humanity is not worthy of existence. In the back of my mind everyday I hear my consciousness call out, as in a prayer to god or wishful thinking, to bring about a sudden annihilation of humanity, preferably with a clear message beforehand saying we earned it.

Sooner or later the world ends for everyone - we all die .. No point worrying about it .. Better to spend the time doing what can to make the world better than when we entered it and living life...

It`s a tricky question.
I know I want the current world order/status quo/the world as we know it to end, i believe we really need it badly.
Do i want the other type of "end of the world", extinction level event? I cannot say, because i don`t know the future. If the world continues on its current path with no hope for the end of the world as we know it (Change), then yes, i would want extinction rather than life in hell with no or very little hope for a change.
