Analyze this.

Had a short, vivid and strange dream last night, with weird symbology.

I was 'in' the world of warcraft game and I found a rare creature, a dragon, that sat on top of a clocktower next to a large clock. Someone was with me but i dont know who it was, I said to this person 'there he is, I'm gonna kill it!'. When I got closer the dragon said to me "not again! not again today!" on which I replied "sorry but yes, I need your reward". The dragon desided to give me the reward without battle and threw a small wooden box at my feet. It fell open and inside was a Tarot deck, one card fell out facing up. I picked up the card, suddenly my mother was there and she said ' wow that's a nice card to start with'.
It was the card of 'red robbinhood' (lol)
then I woke up.

Today different people tried to analyze this dream and I heard different kind of interpretations.

Now, I played wow for several years, I know the rare elite hunt and the drops (reward).
The clock tower, I had looked up information about Big Ben for my kids school the night before.
I also used to play with tarot cards and for me they symbolize 'the answer to a question, or guiding on the direction to take'... (wow also has card decks in and out game)
The only thing I dont have a clue about is Red robbinhood.. on a tarot card! I have absolutely no idea where to seek the meaning of that.

edit to add: the tarot card read 'red robbin hood' but had the picture of a girl in a red cape, like little red cap

Red Robin Hood - well maybe you are to become Socialist/Communist or whatever the Socialism branch. Because I think red stands for socialism. Robin hood was a socialist by nature wasn't he? Taking from the rich and giving to the poor.

And the dragon could be "The system" - Capitalism/Corporatism or whatever and you don't have to kill you it gives up. Maybe capitalism and our economic system is to fail. We will no longer need to fight against it - we will just take from rich without having to kill them and give to the poor. To create a more just system or whatever ... blah blah... that's my interpretation. Hope you like it or find it interesting. ^__^

First thing first, were you Alliance or Horde?
Which city, a main city or an outlying town?
Said monster was on a clock tower, did you reach it with epic flight or the standard non epic flyer?
Red Robin, when your armor is any class above common, and is damaged it shows as red.
Awww forget it, i don't remember what i was gonna say.

Probably your healer. You really should pay more attention to them. Somebody could have been killing him, but no...there you were toatlly focused on the dragon and the loot, ignoring your healer's cries for peels. Shame on you.

"Red robbinhood" seems like a mix of Robin Hood" with "Red Riding Hood."

It's often difficult to examine other people's dreams, because internal symbols vary a lot from person to person. Looking up lists of fixed "meanings" for dream symbols doesn't often work very well. To one person, the ocean may be the scary unknown. To another it may be adventure. A dragon to one person might be an evil creature associated with the end times, whie to another it may be a noble beast.

Apart from the obvious interpretation of you acheiving a goal, the only sigtnificant details that stand out to me are:

* A rare spawn takes a lot of diligence to find. But in your case, once you found it, there was no battle. It gave up the reward very easily to you with no struggle. Also, rare spawns don't always drop the desired loot. it seems like your reward would not be a gaurunteed drop. But the dragon simply gave it to you.
* If there is a shared collective consciousness, it seems reasonable that the minds of 5-12 million people all playing the same game would have a substantial presence in the collective mind. It should come as no surprise if minds entwined in that presence might occassionally call out to minds that used to be entwined.
* Personally, in my own dreams, appearances of my mother are usually...by my best interpretation...psychic entities assuming a form they assume will be comfortable and trustworthy to me in order to lull me into a false sense of security. That may be my own psyche at work, or it may be a legitimite interpretation. But if it is legitimite, and there are psychic entities doing this, it seems plausible that they might do it to dreamers other than myself. That "someone" was lingering around that you were aware of but couldn't identify...and then suddenly your mother was there seems especially suspect.
* It's interesting that your mother commented that it's a nice card to start with. "Start" implies a new venture.
* As mentioned, "red robbinhood" implies Robin Hood + Little Red Riding Hood to me. Red Riding Hood is a common archetype in Jungian psychology.

Otherwise...not really enough to work with.

I haven't played wow in a while, not sure why that pops up in my dreams now.

The only thing that I wonder about is the card, it read red robbin hood, but it had the picture of a girl in a red cape (like little red cap), so yes it seems to be a mix of the two , red cap and robbin hood... must be one of the weirdest dream symbols I ever had

sorry for this late reply, had computer issues over the last couple of days.

thanks for your interpretation, I think in the mean time I figured part of the dream out....

red 'riding' hood: the moral of the story is to stay on the pad, which is something I was thinking a lot of before the dream (including seeing double numbers everywhere which I interprete as a possitive sign that I am on the right pad or doing what I'm suposed to be doing)

red 'robin hood': give to the poor, which is also a big issue in my life right now (several people wanting things from me... and me figuring out if I should keep giving and giving and when enough is enough)

maybe the dragon, who gives me a reward without battle, is telling me that I make things harder on myself then they should be and that the reward will come without the battle as well.

the warcraft scene: not sure about this... life is like playing a game? The more effort you put into it the more epic the reward? not sure...

i have no idea who red robbinhood is, maybe thats you, so that you will have to figure that one out... but i know that your mother suddenly appearing like that means that "she" was probably the card.( card you were holding. ) Im going to say that card was the empress.
and the dragon and the battle is DEFIANTLY a card too. Im going to say it was the 5 of wands, the epic battle with the dragon, according to the mythic tarot. And the 6 of wands too because you received the prize and won the battle with one friend. the question is, who is that friend? so that draws 3 cards. and with 3 cards you can do a past, present and future reading.

First you are fighting the dragon with someone.. but who you must have had some feeling who it might be.. This is the first card, so we are going to say he represents the past. something you have already learned from. Usually this card represents alot of people helping you fight, 'cuz he is a powerful dragon. but you only had One frined which is intresting, it must mean you are very strong and confident around this person. What's really interesting is that the dragon just kinda surrendered to you, maybe because you have done it enough times, it time for a real prize.
