MADISON, Wis. — The controversy over collective bargaining got more intense on Thursday when a judge said he would order protesters out of the state Capitol after bullets were found there, and Gov. Scott Walker said he will issue layoff notices to 1,500 state workers on Friday if his proposal forcing them to pay more for benefits and taking away nearly all their collective bargaining rights isn't passed by then.

The judge moved to clear out the Capitol after state officials said the entire area should be cleared and searched after 41 bullets were found there earlier Thursday.

Of course the pro-union people will claim they were planted, but I say if bullets were found, then everyone needs to get out, just in case they were from a crazed, pro-union person after all.

Texas did the same with the the Texas Rangers a few years back.. i.e using them to bring runaway lawmakers back to the capital when they tried the same thing.

They don't have to compromise.... they won. That's the way elections work. The majority gets to rule and there isn't a guarantee they all vote together if there is disagreement on policy. In this case they will. You think it ok for the minority to just walk out on their duty because it fits their agenda. If they were truly representing their constituents why are there 7 recall petitions circulating?

Wow, now a person can't protest because some judge thinks there might be a chance of violence?

Why should 99% of people have their rights taken away because some unknown person is suspected of wrong-doing.

And the guy in Tucson wasn't a Republican, while a male democrat legislator from Wisconsin is on the record as saying, "You're f---ing dead!" to a female Republican legislator. He ended up apologizing, but who knows if every pro-union thug is quite so ready to?

Good - when Soldier's go AWOL and don't fulfill their oaths they don't get paid and get arrested as well.

These guys are not special - if you or I didn't show up for work we'd not be paid and likely fired to boot. Since they can't be "fired" I say arrest them.

Then initiate recall procedures should there be sufficient interest among their constituents.

They Should be delt with in some legal manner, so they are not setting a presitent for future politicians.

They are really trying to disrupt goverment policy and in the end we all will pay dearly for the few.

Wouldn't it be nice if you were a billionaire and you didn't have to protest the old fashioned way?

Instead all you had to do was flood corporate news and politicians with money to get your way?
