Instead of teaching the Preamble and Constitution as it is written, schools from coast to coast are indoctrinating children to Socialism thanks to a company called Teacher Created Materials.

How much more will we the USA of old take? every day little by little what this nation was, at one time, is no longer. We knew our Bill of rights, We knew the Constitution, and now this????? The USA i knew is no longer, the flag is a farce and has no meaning left.

Yes, its called Values Clarification, a very specific technique used to indoctrinate children and rip them away from parental values. That is what the NEA has been sponsoring all these years.

Government ownership is NOT socialism. Socialism is the workers ownership of the means of production.

As an economic system it has nothing to do with government. Socialism is not government or state ownership.

Why would Anarchists support a socialist economy if it meant government owned?

This is the most in your face example I've seen to date. These people who if the Polls are to be believed, make up about 15% of our population and only a small part of the Democrats. They are clearly of the mindset they need to take over and dictate to us what we should believe or not believe.

They do not believe in individual freedoms or the basics of the Constitution and they fancy themselves the countries Saviors. We are clearly near the point the gloves come off and they openly start to change our system against the will of the majority. Rights and the Contitution be damned.

One need only look at the occupants of the White House to know where this is leading. Before this is over, even the Democrats will be terribly sorry they let their once great Party be taken over by the radical fringe. You folks need to pay attention to whom your trusting to rule your lives.

Both Parties have been taken over by Narcissists and Control Freaks. Freedom to them means they are free to dictate to everyone else what to believe, how to live, what to eat and the ability to control our lives, while stomping all over everyone elses rights.

Mr. HERLONG. Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Fla., is an ardent and articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of communism in America.

At Mrs. Nordman's request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following "Current Communist Goals," which she identifies as an excerpt from "The Naked Communist," by Cleon Skousen:

CURRENT COMMUNIST GOALS

1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev's promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.

17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.

21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms."

23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."

24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.

25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."

27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a "religious crutch."

28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use ["]united force["] to solve economic, political or social problems.

43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

This document was submitted to Congress in 1963 and I clearly remember my Father having me read a version of it, nearly the same that was said too have been smuggled out of the Soviet Union.

Any of it sound familiar or accurate and relevent to what we see today. Anyone doubt this movement is still in action, heading towards their original goal?

It was about what Russia was planning to do, not communists.

Russia was not communist it was a republic, much like the US. It was communist by name but not by action.

That is a lie. They are trying to do an end run around Parents and indoctrinate other peoples children and I'll bet you know that. They are comparing and contrasting. They are only Teaching their Ideology and no others. People who believe this way are a Minority and a small one at that. They are even a minority in the Democratic Party. I've watched them work to change our system and get rid of the Constitution my whole life and if you read their plan above, you will see what it is you are supporting.

Teaching Political Ideologies is the exact same thing as teaching Religious Ideologies to others children. Most people are prisoners of the public school system financially. The first thing Obama did was to stop all funding for Vouchers for D.C. Black Children. Nobody is being fooled. He like all the leaders of this mindset don't even believe what they want to indoctrinate our children in themselves. They send their kids to schools that don't participate or have Teachers because they consider themselves superior and the indoctrination is only for the stupid Masses.

Read it and compare it to how it has gone. I've only been Politically aware for about 40 years, but I've watched those items tick off one by one all through that time.

You see that came from a plan smuggled out of the Soviet Union that was very similar. I have no idea how to find a copy now, but somebody else might. That list was an actual game plan from the Soviets to "Take over" without firing a shot. This one from the article and yes I know it's history is almost identical to the one directly from the old Soviets. I'm sure they took it from that and added to it. As I remember the one from the Soviets had a fourteen point plan laid out to take over without any need to go to war.

Of course if you agree with government taking over our lives completely and taking our freedoms away one at a time, you will turn a blind eye to the truth. They rely on you doing that. In the end they will throw everyone under the bus who is not one of the Elite who's kids are getting excellent educations in private schools with no Union Teachers doing this to their children. They are betting they can indoctrinate enough to use them until they don't need them anymore. Don't say it can't happen, because it has happened over an over again throughout history.

I'm afraid, Republican or Democrats they will never allow that to happen. What some seem to not get is the genuine Progressives are in both Parties now. That's why we see no difference from President to President. They pretend to want our kids to get a good education, but neither Party wants that for real.

I am sorry but that is not Socialism. That could be any wide range of ideologies which profess such beliefs, such as Christian democracy to Liberal conservatism and Social democracy. The only real ideologies opposed to such aspirations are those related to or stem from Classical liberalism, i.e. Libertarianism, Anarchism, Minarchism, etc...

While I do agree with you that our government, more specifically our Constitution, never appropriated such authority to the government and that teaching such ideas as truths is absurd, I personally agree with many of those policies/issues and trust me I am not a Socialist.

You can have the best teachers in the history of mankind...that will still not fix our education system.

What's broken? Both parents in most families have to work instead of one as it was BEFORE Reagan. Parents aren't helping with school work like they were able to or are too tired to do it. They let their kids run around all night or play with their computers or text with their phones.

You want to change the education system?? Make it so only one parent has to work to pay the bills.....higher pay equals more jobs available and more stable/smart families.

No, they should not. Furthermore teachers present everything as fact, so it is no longer a presentation of an ideology.

It is mandatory for a child to attend school, they are supposed to be there there to learn math, english, history etc. Not Political ideologies, nor propaganda. It really bothers me that my daughter spends 7 of her waking hours with a woman I have met once and only briefly. I disagree with alot of what she is learning in school, especially in regards to behavior and social interaction. I also believe that 90% of the teachers at her school are hippocrites of immense proportions, but thats another thing for another time.
By the way, my daughter could both read and write when she started kindergarten and I feel that her academic progress has slowed immensely since becoming a member of a public school.

Your alternative was clearly demonstrated in the old Soviet Union. The problem with Progressives is they don't think history repeats because they think they are smarter than those who tried it before. That's just proof of Narcissism and it's unrealistic.

The money is gone. Who pays for everything for everyone, even those who don't contribute anything themselves. You? Or are you on the usual nutty idea of the rich can support you while you contribute nothing. Easy to understand why people want to sit around and live off the State and other peoples productivity, but it always destroys the State. It always leads to a two class system. The filthy rich and privileged Elite who make the decisions and the Poor Working Class who all live and do without for the good of the State. The closest to a Middle Class you can have is privileged Party (Union) members who are the Elites lapdogs who do the dirty work while the Elite keeps their hands clean.
