TRENTON — The second protest within a week by government employees will take place Thursday outside the State House -- this time with thousands of unionized police, fire and emergency workers expected to show up, digging in against cuts to public safety jobs and changes to benefits

Last week's protest drew more than 3,000 public sector workers.

The upcoming event -- dubbed the "Rally to Take a Stand for Public Safety" -- stands to produce a greater head count, said Dominick Marino, president of the Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey.

"It's getting bigger every time the phone rings," Marino said. "People from all over the state are coming."

Heres another state that is trying to take away public workers benefits. This protest will be on tomorrow, but Im not sure what time yet. If anyone in the area goes to this, let us know how it goes.

From what I understand from the article, New Jersey is trying to do the same thing as Wisconsin and a few other states are doing. We will have to wait and see how many people show up to this tomorrow.
