How many times has this happened without anyone catching it? This is crazy, all it will take is one time for something bad to happen again. The TSA was created exactly for this reason. I understand if a nail clipper gets missed, but THREE boxcutters! If millions of dollars are being spent on screening technology and training screeners, this stuff shouldn't happen.

I hate that the screenings are so intrusive, but these screeners need to do their jobs I also understand that there are other measures in place to prevent someone from hijacking a plane with a boxcutter, but that doesn't mean people couldn't be injured. Luckily this guy just accidently brought them from work. I'm also glad that people were aware enough of their surroundings to notice the boxcutters fall from this guys luggage.

TSA Missed it!

If 3 box cutters and a few wild religious fanatics can take over a plane, especially post 9-11, then we have bigger problems than the TSA not being effective Nazis.

The machines can make naked pictures of your 10 year old, but can't actually catch what they were "intended" to catch.....
The nudity machines aren't working. Everyone must now pass through security fully naked in an orderly line.

I'll bet the TSA made sure that no bottled water, aftershave or nailclippers got on that flight though!

I wonder if anyone had an assault weapon on board? Probably did.

Are you serious? Boxcutters are NOT the problem. Islamic terrorists hijacked the planes, not the boxcutters.

You think a few box cutters are bad...

According to one report, undercover TSA agents testing security at a Newark airport terminal on one day in 2006 found that TSA screeners failed to detect concealed bombs and guns 20 out of 22 times. A 2007 government audit leaked to USA Today revealed that undercover agents were successful slipping simulated explosives and bomb parts through Los Angeles's LAX airport in 50 out of 70 attempts, and at Chicago's O'Hare airport agents made 75 attempts and succeeded in getting through undetected 45 times.

I smell smear camp for the TSA. They've been in the news for the past few months on their airport security measures and practices.

17 posts March 2, 2011 9:06:25 AM PST Quote Edit New Hampshire may soon criminalize the TSA’s intrusive pat-downs and naked body porno scanners as sexual assault. Debate has moved forward on HB628-FN, a bill that would make “the touching or viewing with a technological device of a person’s breasts or genitals by a government security agent without probable cause a sexual assault,” according to WMUR in Manchester.

“Let’s put their name on the sex offender registry, and maybe that will tell them New Hampshire means business,” said bill co-sponsor Rep. Andrew Manuse, R-Derry. “That is a crime in this state, and we should charge them every single time,” added bill co-sponsor Rep. George Lambert, R-Litchfield.

TSA officials did not comment on the legislation. They insist so-called airport security checkpoints are under federal jurisdiction. “We have to understand that if things need to be changed, they have to be done at the federal level, not the state level,” said Democrat Rep. Laura Pantelakos.

In November, a California district attorney said he would charge TSA agents with sexual assault if they conducted the new pat-down procedures in his state. “TSA does not have any special immunity from everybody else,” saidSteve Wagstaffe, San Mateo County’s chief deputy district attorney. “If an employee of TSA inappropriately touches the privates of another person, and they do so with a sexual or lewd intent, then that’s either a misdemeanor (if it’s over the clothing) or a felony crime (possible when touching the skin).” TSA grope-down behavior gained national attention when flier John Tyner told TSA agents “don’t touch my junk.” Tyner secretly recorded his TSA pat down experience on his iPhone.

After the computer programmer refused to fly and obtained a ticket refund, TSA officials ordered him to return to the security inspection to complete his screening. Tyner was later threatened with a $10,000 fine for refusing to be sexually abused by the federal government.

Outraged citizens organized a national opt-out day in response to the TSA’s new grope and sexual abuse procedures. “Groping, naked X-Ray scans, and invasive searches by government bureaucrats — probably not what you had in mind as part of your holiday travels,” Congressman Bob Barr of Liberty Guard wrote as the campaign kicked off prior to Thanksgiving. “Like many Americans, you might even be having second thoughts about flying this holiday season to avoid these invasions to your privacy at our nation’s airports.” In response to the campaign, the TSA deactivated many naked body porno scanners around the country and waived sexual assault grope-down procedures.

“Considering recent hardline statements made by DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano and TSA Administrator John Pistole, this apparent sudden reversal in the TSA’s direction warrants additional scrutiny,” said Joe Seehussen, President of Liberty Guard. “We’d like to know if we can expect a policy shift from the TSA or if they were merely attempting to shut down the public outcry regarding their search procedures.

” Lets hope that these blatant attempts to infringe on the peoples rights, stops here. Thus showing that the people have had enough of the ongoing molestation. " The buck stops here "!

Israel and Britain does, and look at the low numbers of hijacks they are subjected to? Very low numbers, and you know why that is? Because the embrace profiling....not make it a slang term for political gain!

4 hours old Thread of this importance and only 12 Posts & 0 FLAGS.

"In case anyone has forgotten, the TSA was created because of a couple boxcutter incidents," said one PAPD source, referring to the weapons used by al Qaeda operatives to commandeer the jets they later slammed into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on 9/11. Read more: www.nypost.com...

Sad, maybe the next TSA Blunder ATS Thread should add Aliens, Nibiru and/or NWO in the headline.

Why did the Underwear Bomber wait until the plane had landed to set off his underwear?

I have a simple theory regarding this scenario. If the Underwear Bomber had been allowed to detonate his underwear, Mainstream Media would not have had something to show people on TV to scare them into accepting the Full Body Scanners. Think about it. If the Underwear had blowed up over the Atlantic, Mainstream Media would not have been able to keep repeating the words "Underwear Bomber" in your face for several weeks.

Remember how almost every state in the nation was opposed to the Full Body Scanners? Then all of a sudden there was a complete 360 turn around when Mainstream Media began to bombard the public with images of the explosive Underwear.

If there had been no Underwear to show on TV, there wouldn't have been no place for Full Body Scanners at airports.

It was known that the scanners had already been manufactured and were sitting in storage accumulating dust because almost all of the 50 states did not want them.

It's a sad cowardly world when people let psychopaths take over their destinies with boxcutters. The fold down tables in the backs of the seats could smash a face or act as a shield.

So when the box cutters fell out of the luggage, how many jumped the guy and took them?

Even box cutters couldn't do as much damage as brute force, like getting on a plane and just going ape bonkers postal on everyone...

Imagine it... If people were so nuts and terroristic they could just be on a plane and start smashing people's faces and breaking arms, kick in the cockpit door and start smashing and bashing the pilots in the head, kicks to the face etc, etc...

But it hasn't EVER happened.. ie, the entire idiocy happening with the fake war on terror is simply for money and control done in tandem..

It is bad though, if someone is able to get some metal object like that on a plane... He must have had help by the security to be able to do it..

Actually, you do not need to take anything on to an aircraft to cause considerable damage. All the equipment is already on board for you to use. It is just a matter of knowing where to look.

Satan is very clever at what he does. He is so good at deceiving mankind that he has created sciences and technologies as tools of his deception to deceive mankind into believing that the Universe was the result of a Big Bang. And when you fall for this, you now can no longer allow yourself to perceive that Satan and the Creator do in fact exist. He makes you choose between Divine Creation and Evolution to divide and conquer your mind.

Remember that Satan is an immortal being with immortal intelligence and knowledge second only to the Creator and his Son. Your mortal mind is no match for his. This is why most human beings today think that Satan do not exist.

Look at it this way, if Satan was a stage magician, would he first tell you how his tricks work before he does them on stage? Would a stage magician do this? Would a stage magician choose an assistant that could reveal the secret to his tricks? This is why Satan created the genetically engineered reptilian human hybrid being to serve as his workers on planet Earth.

By default, Satan is always smarter than you. Therefore do not let your guard down. All the turmoil going on in the world today and all the news of possible doom is the work of the Evil One. Pledge your Love and Allegiance to the Creator and renounce Satan.
