The US government is offering private intelligence companies contracts to create software to manage “fake people” on social media sites.
Private security firms employeed by the government have used the accounts to create the illusion of consensus on controversial issues.
The contract calls for the development of “Persona Management Software” which would help the user create and manage a variety of distinct fake
profiles online. The job listing was discussed in recently leaked emails from the private security firm HBGary after an attack by internet activist

According to the contract, the software would “protect the identity of government agencies” by employing a number of false signals to convince
users that the poster is in fact a real person. A single user could manage unique background information and status updates for up to 10 fake people
from a single computer.
It’s not like this hasn’t been done before.
Our criminal government has an ongoing history of running disinformation propaganda campaigns against the
COINTELPRO (an acronym for Counter Intelligence Program) was a series of covert, and often illegal, projects conducted by the United States
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) aimed at surveilling, infiltrating, discrediting, and disrupting domestic political organizations.
COINTELPRO tactics included discrediting targets through psychological warfare, planting false reports in the media, smearing through forged letters,
harassment, wrongful imprisonment, extralegal violence and assassination. Covert operations under COINTELPRO took place between 1956 and 1971, however
the FBI has used covert operations against domestic political groups since its inception. The FBI’s stated motivation at the time was
“protecting national security, preventing violence, and maintaining the existing social and political order.”
The government is a criminal institution of thieves.
It will always act like a criminal institution of thieves, because it is a criminal institution of thieves.
To expect anything less is ridiculous.
