Does anyonelse experience i really odd sensation whilst doing this?

Sit in your chair, and relax, take a few deep breathes, clothes your eyes and gently look towards your third eye, (just above the spot betweem your eyebrows).

Everytime i do it i get a really light feeling, like i feel like im about to float away.

Really odd, just curios if anyone else feels it, or am i just going crazy?

Talk about synchronicity.

Just last night I was laying in bed listening to an amazing song with my eyes closed, and my 3rd eye was awake and I could feel the sensation and power emanating from the area.

It was incredible.

It is because 'endorphins' are released, which gives the feel of pleasure.

It works well for reliving head-aches.

It's a pretty standard aspect of certain types of meditations. Eyes of toward 3rd eye, tongue on the roof of your mouth. It helps to awaken and connect with the 3rd eye.

Yes, I do get that "light" feeling you mentioned although it takes a little longer to happen for me. One thing I do experience is that I see a purple pulsing orb, almost like the iris of your eye, and it appears on a reddish background.

The longer I meditate, and it comes easier if I'm lying down in Savasana, the less I am aware of my body. It is such a great feeling, wish you could just stay there and enjoy the ride.

Great post, S&F, can't wait to see where it goes.

Namaste,
