I think that our parents were on some really serious drugs....that they wore (and worse, dressed us in) these kinds of outfits...

Thanks for that "blast from the past," Makes me nostalgic for my bright flower powered bell bottom pants. I loved those and wore them with my Nehru jacket!

I steadfastly deny ever wearing anything that looks like that clothing!

Anyone want to make some of these hot clothes? LOL I actually have prolly 50 patterns my grandma gave me. Like I would wear this stuff by choice? Of course mom made me when I was little. Not sure why I haven't burnt all those pictures yet.

I was only thinking of my hipster bell bottoms the other day worn with a cheesecloth blouse tied under the bust.

Wow.. my dad had a light blue leisure suit.

What a painful reminder.

Great thread! S&F & LOL!

I was a teenager in the 70's. My favorite item of clothing was my camouflage bell-bottoms with my tie-dyed t-shirt with the peace sign on it. The outfit I hated was the jumpsuits; real hell if ya had to pee badly...they were a bugger to get off.

Wow....I had almost erased leisure suits from my memory!

I did notice that site has a "store" link on it. Fortunately, they aren't actually selling of the the attire they are mocking!
There is also a 1970's lingerie catalog it links to too. Really good laugh all around there!

Cool stuff. I was a 70s teenager, but my clothes consisted of levi or wrangler jeans. Doc martin boots, Arthur Black shirts and braces. When dressing for an occasion it was a grey prince of wales check suit and "Terry" shoes. If it was cold the standard wear was a black "Crombie" dress coat.

I guess fashion was split between the "Glam Rock" and the "Skinhead" genre.

Did you notice they all looked like porn stars? The men, I mean. Holy heck! I grew up in the seventies and eighties, but I stuck pretty close to my levi's, sneakers and flannel shirts. Hick girl!

It's the porn stache's most of the guys sport...and, because everyone in the 70's for some reason looks like a porn star...

Best line of the site:

Space Hookers: These disco numbers look as if they were props from "Buck Rogers visits a Massage Parlour" and yes, they still have camel toe in the future.

(and the one on the right, is actually pretty hot)...

I don't know why I am attracted so much to the 1970s.
