1.) could be a regular person with an absolutely plausible (or atleast in their own conviction) alternative
2.) could be a shill or just a niave person, or even better, a person indoctrinated to believe the "official version" of the truth.

Making sweeping statements makes you no better than them... I'd say your guildines are enough to have reasonable suspicion, but to out right label them as goverment employees is a little extreme.....

I'm not a government employee, and I been lurking here for years, and I haven't agreed with everything ever posted here. As I'm sure you don't. Which makes you a debunker/skeptic in relative terms to the op of the threads you don't agree with.

It's just silly and should be taken with a grain of salt.... but definitely a good outline to deduce potential suspects.... I'd say there has to be some kind of multiple flag system, like if you raise 5 out of those ten flags you are worthy of suspicion....

The more flags you raise, the more likely it is...

Either way, I'm certain they exist.

I think if you are caught as a disinfo agent you shall be made to wear a star. Then there will be an execution thread in which there will be public execution by lethal banning for all to see live.

The government agents are those that try and deflect attention away from themselves by starting a thread "How to Know Who is a Government Employee on this Website"

I think they might actually call fowl a lot.

IE
You start a thread about high pressure being parked off the east coast for a long time and hurricane's bouncing off the coast like it's a pin ball game. You do not mention HAARP.
THEY then come out and say something like "Oh no not another HAARP conspiracy. What a crock."
They derail the thread in a way to make the OP seem unattractive in some way.

I think they will be using a lot of tactics to drive the herd.

I am glad people are thinking about this sort of issue.
I do not see any reason to think that the ATS mods would know who is who though- in fact, they might be quicker to get themselves banned or moderated because if they lose a profile, they have 100+ more-some profiles might be much more invested than others tho- like a freaking wow character that you really don't want to see killed off.

There no longer are "government employees" who would visit this website.

All Government Employee's were contracted out and the few that are left are merely managers or yes men to someone that needs support.

Therefor the only threat posting here and watching are Military Intelligence, Secret Service if a post involves the Prez, or the FBI linking posts to your file....which is likely automated by now.

WHO was the private entity that paid this website owner SIX FIGURES to get part ownership of this website? There's no way they could swing a profit on such an investment.......soooo.....guess who?

I do occasioally lose my rag at one or 2 morons (see!)...but mostly the insults are directed my way.

I've always felt that the people agreeing with me do so from rational appreciation of verifiable evidence.

Dunno quite what this means - I've never seen any dodgy links here ...plenty of links to rubbish information or information the poster clearly doesnt' actually understand...but that's just par for this site.

My experience is that that is universally a characteristic of people pushing drivel - multiple extracts of info with no effort made to say why they might be applicable, lists of patents, papers, etc.....almost universally being either irrelevant or obviously incmoprehensible to the person who thinks they support their case.

I see very few debunkers raising threads to "debunk"...but often multiple threads "in favour" of any given idiot theory.

If you pay taxes , you are a government employee .

I also notice that they are pretty bad on threads about ufo's, earthquakes, the sun, police, or tsa. Oh, and they seem to really hate women and Native American indians.

I don't think it's fair to say all debunkers are govt employees, but I have seen some who definitely fit the script.

Ever since ATS's publicity because Jared Laughner hung out here (as Erad 3, or something like that?) I assume there are "paid government agents" monitoring this site. Even --- still --- I post what I want to say, while knowing that I have a right to, as long as it is not unlawfull stuff. But the problem in the US now, because of increasingly surreal draconian clampdowns against average citizens, (which I believe is due to some strange takeover) is............what makes you unlawfull? It could be, merely critisizing the present government? 'They' will have to "pull the internet kill switch" for me to stop interwebs'ing.............
