Twitter is down.
Currently, their page just says ...

Twitter is over capacity. Please wait a moment and try again.
For more information, check out Twitter Status


Not sure if this means a DDOS attack on them, or just some glitch.
Time will tell I suppose.

On the Twitter Status page, it currently says:

26TH SAT Currently experiencing elevated error rates 10 minutes ago You may experience some problems loading twitter.com and with Twitter clients. We are aware of the problem and are taking action.

yeah i got that message to nothing to worry about i think
happened to me last night and i just refreshed like ten minutes
later and it was all good. oh and change your date in op to 2011

Not quite sure how this warrants as real news, though I will be extremely happy if twitter and all related garbage dies a terrible internet death!

It should be no surprise that Twitter would get a lot of traffic after a Friday night. It's fine for me right now.
