Keith Olbermann Says His "FOK News Channel" Debuts Tonight

www.rawstory.com

Around 3 PM EST, Olbermann posted, "Bulletin: FOKNewsChannel site, humble and presumably bug-ridden though it may be, goes live tonight. Puhhhhhhrobably. #FOK"

As of 5 PM, there was still a placeholder page at www.foknewschannel.com.... However, a series of further tweets pasted to twitter.com... had added additional details of the intended offerings.

I can't wait to see what kind of site this is going to be. Olbermann's wit is sharp as a knife. Hopefully FokNewsChannel (FKN) will join the growing movement of alternative media websites. After the HuffPo debacle, we need all the help we can get.

It's not up yet, but should be any time soon!

I for one can't wait. HuffPro is on board too? What about BNN and MSFNC?

Keith's channel will probably be more "fair and balanced" than that other FOKin station that masquerades as news.

Thanks for the heads up. His voice has been dearly missed and I can't wait for him to return to the fray.

Great, more polarizing political news overseen by the CFR.

Journalism is dead. Sensationalism is all the rage.

I think you had better download the FOK, (Friends Of Keith) toolbar as opposed to the FOX toolbar as I doubt that Fox will have anything to do with Olbermann. Just saying.

Olbermann is a smug know-it-all a-hole.
I would add a 2nd line but I have nothing else.

I thought Olbermann was dead?

I'm not a fan, but I did watch his show from time to time, I thought it was more entertaining than Beck, and at times it was funny.

That guy can rant like no one I've seen... I'll never forget his rant where he openly called President Bush a liar!

He was quite good during Bush, but since Obama's nomination, he's been a shill for the government and calling people who disagreed with Obama racists, even if Obama did the same thing Bush did.

If you want the definition of a partisan hack, Olbermann is one... Fox News is also one, CNN too, MSNBC too... all of them are hacks.

Even Stewart... even if he's now a weaker Obama supporter than he was before...

I'm sorry but he's too emotional for that type of job, though not as bad as Ed.
He'll turn out to be just another talking Fok head.

Who's Rachel Meadow?

ATS needs a spell-check function.

Emotional? Here's emotional....

I have to hand it to Mr. Beck though; this type of Schick is perfect for the demographic he is trying to appeal to.
Marketing/programing genius on the part of his A&R guys.

However the act may be wearing a little thin as his ratings are starting to slip quite badly.
