Interesting. And that proves that these protests are trying to destroy america? How?

And if that association proves something, then what does the association with Walker and Koch prove?

I see. Well, then can you explain to me how "Communism" is directly related to this specific issue in Wisconson? Specifically.

Personally, I think you have it wrong, and CORPORATISM is what this issue is about, and the direction our current President as well as most politicians are leading us, where American workers have as many rights as a 'chinese coolie.

American nworkers already have as many as or more rights than the Chinese. The Chinese govt seems to be using more Capitalist means lately. Marxist/communist takeover was ostensibly to give workers control of the means of production, but in Marxist philosophy, the State is Supreme and the individual is subject to the rule of the State. Tell me how having the State run your life is giving you more rights than free enterprise? Did you know that Karl Marx wrote in the Communist Manifesto that the goal of communism was to abolish private property? Tell me how that gives you rights?

Good Riddance

As i've said in a previous post-

Unions = More Money, less accountability

I've worked for two Airlines that no longer exist. Part of the reason they no longer exist is because of the literal bleeding of money to these Unions. I've had to uproot my family and scramble to find other work because airlines couldn't keep up with paying all the employees connected to a CBA.

My opinion may be biased because of all of this. Union seemed like a great idea for coal miners in the 1900's. Not these days when people just need JOBS. Places are stuggling just too keep up with paying pensions. I just shake my head in disgust when I think of a fat, bloated, UAW GM mechanic collecting an inflated paycheck with the unfortunate task of having to create a sh*tty quality car. I hope it doesn't end with WI. The country cannot afford this right now.

You didn't answer any of my questions.

How is the recent protest in Wisconsin connected to "Communism"?

Please show your work.

Really? Why? Aren't the pensions funded by the workers salaries?

If the government said Social Security was bankrupt and you or your elders were not allowed to collect, would you feel that 'fair'?

To be honest, it's hard to determine what's "fair," anymore.
Do you know what I mean?

You mean the association of Soros with the Union protesters dont you? Because that is what it is, and I have just noticed that Fox news is about to discuss the politics of the protests as well, so my guess is that I'm not the only one to see what is going on. How would you like to explain the Occupier's ownership of shares of BP Oil in which he stands to make 85 million through the disruption of the oil spill and simultaneously got a moratorium on off shore drilling by American companies.
www.fireandreamitchell.com...
"Well isn’t this interesting? Check out what AdamDodson.org revealed. Obama will earn nearly $85 MILLION from this gulf oil disaster! No wonder he has all this time for golfing, parties, and never spoke to BP CEO Tony Hayward! It’s all becoming all too clear now:

“Goldman Sachs wasn’t alone either in its astute “foreknowledge” of the collapse of BP’s stock value due to the Gulf disaster as BP’s own chief executive, Tony Hayward, sold about one-third of his shares weeks before this catastrophe began unfolding too.

But according to this FSB report the largest seller of BP stock in the weeks before this disaster occurred was the American investment company known as Vanguard who through two of their financial arms (Vanguard Windsor II Investor and Vanguard Windsor Investor) unloaded over 1.5 million shares of BP stock saving their investors hundreds of millions of dollars, chief among them President Obama."

I'll try again. You said "Places are struggling to keep up with paying pensions'

and I asked you to state why that is, when pensions are built upon worker wage-input.

Therefore, the money has always been there, and if it isn't, it is the fault of the state, not the worker.

if the state is having trouble paying the pension, it is not the worker or the union's fault, but the employer for mis-managing the funds. Blaming union employees for a state shortfall because of state mis management of funds is hardly logical.

By the grace of Zeus's balls, you are right! Pure forum ownage sir. I speak for the airline industry, some that are struggling to keep up with their Pensions of retired employees. Their inflated pension was managable a half decade ago when their contracts were created. Some of these cannot be negotiated and it hurts everyone with employeement at the said airline. Now the industry is in a state of cost cutting just to stay in business. If you want me to agree with your statement. Sure, chief. You win.

I have already posted the truth about this pension fund thing. Did you read it or are you still clinging to the liberal myth? Dick Morris has just now explained that Walker is trying to reform education by limiting teacher tenure, and that when Wi voters have this explained to them they understand and are more supportive of the new law. Parents want to see their children succeed in school, and so there's more to this than just worker's rights. I already addressed this too, btw, in my post about what is wrong with the public schools.

Yes, here it is with a link to my source:

"Unfortunately, his “smoking gun” is not true. Not even close.

The Wisconsin Retirement System and deferred compensation are two completely separate things. Full-time state- and local-government employees are participants in the Wisconsin Retirement System, which uses taxpayer money to fund both the state (around 5 percent of salary) and employee (another 5 percent) contributions to their pensions.

On top of that, if they choose, state employees can participate in the deferred-comp plan, where they decide how much of their money to set aside, pre-tax, and a portion is matched by the state. That is in addition to their traditional pension contribution.

All this can be found in Chapter 40 of the Wisconsin State Statutes, which clearly demarcates each program in separate subchapters. Further, the Wisconsin Retirement System is explained in detail in this paper from the Wisconsin Legislative Fiscal Bureau.

This is what happens when national writers become instant experts in state-benefit issues — expect a correction post soon. Sadly, the toothpaste might already be out of the tube."

Jobs can be very "dynamic," if you will. Living breathing places that people donate most of their lives. EMPLOYERS are willing to bend if times are a changin'. CBA's (in the case I speak of, unions that pay out pensions) are typically unwilling to bend or change any part of the original agreement. Even if it means putting the rest of the EMPLOYEES jobs in paycut status or Peril. Part of the reason I never post very much on this site is because of replies like this. I wish to express my opinion, not answer for it by providing links/pictures/data/blood sample. God that's so F'n annoying. Before you know it there will be pics of George Washington, the SS, or a Sasquatch with 123332132 Wiki-links.

Unions typically protect the weakest of employees.

So where is the incentive for a school teacher to go above and beyond? Their union will protect them, even if they are sub-par.

Here is the link to what I posted on the public educational system relating to teachers
thedirectoryofschools.com...
" Public schools force parents to pay heavy school taxes for an inferior, often mind-numbing education for their children.

8. Public schools are a government-controlled near-monopoly. Bad schools don't close down because compulsory taxes prop them up. Incompetent or mediocre teachers aren't fired because tenure laws protect them. That's why public schools will never improve and will always waste children's precious time."

check this out:

"A recent survey conducted earlier this month by the Harris Interactive polling firm on behalf of the Bill of Rights Institute reveals some startling, disheartening results. According to the survey, 42 percent of the over 2,000 respondents believe that Karl Marx’s maxim, “from each according to his ability and to each according to his need [or needs]” is part of one of our nation’s founding documents. Further, nearly 20 percent assigned it to the Bill of Rights. When the survey results are fragmented according to age, we find that 30 percent of young adults misidentified Marx’s statement as something written in either the Federalist Papers, the Declaration of Independence, or the Constitution."

You STILL havent explained how it's the EMPLOYEES fault that the EMPLOYERS mismanaged pension finds.

I mean, I appreciate your anecdotes relating to OTHER Unions, but this thread, and my query, are related to something far more specific.

Are you unable to answer the question?

We are going to have to agree to disagree. Mostly because i've completely lost interest in disecting this further. I stated my opinion on Unions and the adverse effects of them. I thought I was explaining it correctly but I guess i'm not. I'm so lost on this one but i'm glad you like my anecdotes. That is at least a win.
